  1. True but, they don't have Variety, or Sunshine, written down the side.

  2. Correct, but this is a Sag mocking thread, so if you don't mind, we will continue to laugh at you at every opportunity you so readily present. Thanks.

  5. Gas crowing about best home record over last three seasons, well I don't mean to dampen the mood but you would expect better results against Braintree and Dover and the football powerhouse that is Grimsby than you would against..., well any of the 92 league teams tin pot mind the gap

  6. The Montpelier owner wanted to buy a 45% stake in Gloucester, but needed approval from the prem and top 14 members. This wasn't given but 20% was approved. However the Montpelier guy has now called the deal off. Basically 2 competitor clubs have allegedly scuppered investment in a rival. You could say well they would, but my argument is that it's not their business. Article on beeb and shedweb (glos forum) if you want to know more.

  7. As cringeworthy as the video of the Rovers 'lads' having a go at a minibus is, let's not pretend that doesn't happen at your place either.

  10. It's extremely harsh. They say that Luatua could be an even more attractive proposition in three years. He still could be if Bristol are playing Heineken Cup by then. Given the money they're throwing around and the Lam factor it could well happen. If he does well he'll have no shortage of offers. Conversely he could get injured tomorrow and never play again. Very hard to turn down the sort of money English and French clubs are throwing around these days. I'm not sure how close he is to the NZ team after Hansen's twatty remarks about him and Lam anyway.

  12. That could be something of a season-saving point today. Granted a victory would have been first and foremost on both sets of supporters list, but you've got to be the more pleased of the two to take a draw away from an opposition in more need of points than yourselves. As others have mentioned safety isn't yet achieved, but you're finally putting some results together and moving away from the most dangerous reaches of the league. Today illustrated for me all things are possible in the Championship - results occur when you least expect them - so while there's still an element of uncertainty regards any relegation concern, at least things look much brighter now than they did a few weeks recent. (We'll try and beat Forest on the last day to assist if needed, but you've probably done enough by now to remain in the league for another season)
