  1. See on the back page of the EP that Dopey gives an insight into a manager's lot on transfer deadline day ! Next week a nun gives an "insight" into various methods of birth control !

  3. If we adopt the tried and trusted Andy Tilson scale, a unit a measurement used by most 3rd world countries. I understand they invested zero Tilsons or portions therein.

  4. Just had a ganders at Gaschat, it appears they don't know the difference between a sell on clause and a release clause. Our old friend HG clearly stating that DC has announced none of the players have a sell on clause....

  5. Strange. I was under the impression they made a statement intent each time they unveiled a new signing at the mem

  7. Just had a gander on Gaschat. Apparently them keeping Bodin is a 'real statement if intent' - obviously, that statement might have some merit if indeed they had turned down offers for the player, but following the transfer window yesterday I don't recall anyone having made a bid. So there was nothing to reject.

  8. In the interest of fairness, a Daily Mail reporter (I know, hardly the gold standard of journalism) who was the first to break that clubs were interested in Bodin, reported that we turned down two offers of £500,000. We also had a bigger net spend than Arsenal, so obviously we're massive, Wael's a trillionaire now and we're coming for you. To be honest, I am over the moon he's staying. We'll lose him in January or in the summer for free, but even for £500,000 we won't get a good enough player to replace the value he brings to the side, particularly with just one day to get the replacement in.

  11. Teams out: http://www.bristolrugby.co.uk/news/team-news-bristol-rugby-vs-hartpury/ 8 internationals including Madigan, Luatua and Morahan, when you consider the players that are out injured that team is brilliant, a bit harsh on Cullen and Edwards not to be playing but shows the strength in depth we have With regards to the ticket prices I think we should max it at 25 quid and make it affordable

  12. That's what we do though, that's not the Gas way. Bit like when we had an inclination that the plans for the new stadium at Ashton Vale were in doubt. City released plans for a redeveloped AG 6 months before AV was declared dead in the water. The AQs didn't bother with that...instead they dropped hints (new sprinklers, new seats for the tent, "don't the carpets and curtains look clean today?" etc) 'Evolution' apparently.

  15. Oh ... stop it, it's enough to make someone who went through the piss taking and vitriol of 82, excited, very excited, at the prospect of Wally's adulation ending in administration.

  19. Sometimes I feel sorry for them, in moments of weakness. Then I come to my senses....**** `em! If it was the other way around, you would see their collective tumescence from the moon.
