  1. No doubt Bennet's goal yesterday will be voted the Bristol Rovers FC 2017 champagne moment. Likewise, all they have to look forward to next year is the possibility of another Dean Windass moment to stop us making the big time. Bunch of green eyed, sour, poisonous neanderthals. I hope 2018 is their last year in existace.

  2. I expect Ryan Bennett and the Wolves manager will be getting an invite to Chasers very soon!

  3. Notice that was posted by the same brain dead specimen who thought they were going to take 4000 to Notts County and accused Rovers owners of money laundering. Ive no doubt us losing narrowly to the Championship League leaders made his, and other Gasheads, year. Just let that sink in for a second Happy New Year City fans. Thank God that we clearly made the right choice out of red and blue. Here’s to plenty more ‘gifts’ in 2018 from Wally, Hamer and the funny little fan base who inhabit the Horfield World of Tents.

  4. It`s still one of the few things about City that makes me angry, the way he was treated when he was here.

  5. Can’t really think of anyone who looks less like Danny Dyer than Mr Pitman, but I still love Brett - what a finisher that boy is...

  6. We don’t bang on about how supposedly amazing our away support is all the time though.

  7. Ridsdale and Neil were at Oldham earlier to watch Bodin. Looking like we'll make a move.

  8. Hahaha the sheer audacity of them to mock us for our defeat against Wolves. 3rd in Championship and beaten Man Utd and still try and mock us, they truely are a 'special' bunch. Problem is the joke is on them really, laugh now but they'll be back in L2 eventually and I feel City will get stronger.

  9. Spot on, we had a natural finisher with a great record on our hands, and we didn’t use him correctly or play to his strengths....natural finishers are gold dust, ignore them at your peril....

  10. Anyone else feel like a healthy dose of Karma is coming to their lot? The amount of frankly horrible stuff the club and it's fans have been a part of on and off the pitch probably exceeds the most shameful moments of every other club in the country. From tiny bids on AG, laughing in our face in 82, rampant racism for as long as I can remember, homophobia, stealing from the supporters trust to bare faced lying to the supports. It's not like this current predicament they're about to find themselves in has been coming, has it?

  11. This must be the worst time ever to be a sag, there is literally nothing they can say anymore. We are becoming an example in how to run a modern club, while they are being primed for asset stripping and adminnistration. Oh well

  12. To be fair Slim, they are bound to be the 3rd best supported club in the country as they are the 6th richest. Any fool knows that.

  13. Don't let THEM read this........ Bristol Rovers earned an away point for the second time in five days as they drew 1-1 at fellow League One strugglers Oldham.

  14. This is what really annoys me - we're playing teams that train twice a week FFS yet still we concede far too many points.

  16. Yet still we concede far too many tries! If we're shipping points against Richmond and Pirates imagine how Chiefs and Sarries will profit from our usual loss of focus we seem to suffer from.

  17. Oh look, it's the Gashead who was too ashamed to admit he was a Gashead on here so pretended to be a Pompey fan instead. Wonder which team the dick will be supporting tomorrow when Rovers play Portsmouth?

  18. They are counting the number of fingers in their crowd, not the individual inbreds attending.

  19. This will be our downfall in January. If we are still in playoffs at end of Jan I will be amazed. The team are running on empty and it’s only fantastic spirit and determination that’s keeping us going. Loose that and we are sunk,

  20. @JBFC II Tovey has had offers to go elsewhere and for more money than he's on at Bristol, so clearly rated by some. Tovey loves the club and city though hence he has stayed. Good second half for Bristol yesterday and a very narrow win for Ealing means we extend our lead by a point!

  22. We lost to PNE towards the end of November and got beat by Leeds in late October.....we’ve had more than one defeat in three months...just to give a bit of balance. Leave the exaggerations to that lot...

  24. One thing to think of folks... At least we've all made our way back to our homes in Bristol and the West Country tonight, and not to You-know-where. Let 'em all fock off back to the land of joke accents, perpetual moaning and dirty streets.

  25. Looking at our upcoming fixtures they all look difficult, however my tiny brain calls them actually exciting. We are in semis of league cup and 3rd in table. If someone told me this at the same time last year i would have suggested professional help. No matter what happens we have had one hell of a season to date and I have this feeling the ride will continue. Last year I was one who called for LJ's head however I am happy to admit to being very wrong. In saying that let's not underestimate the influence of DH and J Mc in our good fortunes. I am 58 and attended my first game aged 3 (you do the maths). I've experienced the good times and far more bad times. Make the most of the ride fellow Reds and enjoy. Most of all remember we will lose some games. It's a fact of life.

  26. We didn't lose this game, we ******* wrapped it up in christmas wrapping and handed to them. Terrible decision making at the back at times, felt we dawdled too much at times in our own back yard, said to my old dad a goal was coming, so annoying throwing away a game at 1-0 we should of won.

  27. I think it was more Fielding's decision to come rushing out that threw it away myself.

  28. He was miles offside against the whole back line, apart from Wright (?) who didn’t hold the line. I wouldn’t blame Hörður there.

  29. Shot ourselves in the foot there. 1 - 0 up against 10 men and the ball gets worked out to a player in space????? WTF then it's a pointless red card as they score from the resulting free kick and then he brings on a winger who only threatens with crosses, but to short men? At the expense of Brownhill a solid midfielder? Then Pack tries a cruyff turn on the edge of his own box and it costs us the ******* game. Absolutely irate! That was like Sheffield Wednesday away last season all over again!!!!! FFS! Never get a better opportunity than top of the league at home and down to 10 men. WTF was that player doing in acres of space?????????!!!!!!

  30. LJ cost us 3 pts by not immediately putting Flint back into defence when we went 1 up.

  33. Sadly for them, they think 'Remnants' is a Brazilian midfielder, and not something from Brian Steel's bargain bucket.
