  1. They are all over it like Stuart Sinclair delving into a bin outside McDonalds. Nothing is happening at all and there are no concrete updates as these things take a considerable amount of time, however, the less that happens the lovelier and lovelier Wally gets. He gets more lovely every time. What a lovely bloke. Rovers are going down the toilet but who cares? Wally is lovely. Quick, let's all go down Gloucester Road with him held high on our shoulders. Who needs a football club when you have got a lovely lovely lovely Wally? Wally, lovely bloke. Lovely. Let's have a Wally love-in..... How lovely is Wally? Lovely bloke.

  2. "People keep on saying we don't have a plan B or C, but we do have a plan B, C, D and E. We all know that we need new facilities and we are working hard behind the scenes to achieve that, it's going to take time." Well that's a surprise.

  3. Kind of a nothing interview - kind of suggesting things were happening when there was nothing really. Still no stadium news, just somethings happening in the background (same as the last X years) Bought a training ground - um no you bought some fields and pitch, still no training ground being built there or plans. DC 5 year contract - again old news and meaningless, as the club can get rid of him whenever they want, or he can leave whenever he wants and both parties will get their 1 year compensation as per most of these types of contract. They might as well have announced they gave him a 100 year contract, would mean the same. Development team, same old bringing the squad numbers back up after shedding players over the years due to costs. Back room staff, same old, bringing them back up to normal numbers after shedding staff over the years due to costs. DC got the players he wanted. Hmmm I suspect he would have liked more / better but had to settle, or was what we saw really the pinnacle of his teams transfer policy/targets. just treading water, I imagine the Rovers fans will lap up the old rehashed news as "Amazeballs" but it's just nothing.

  4. You mock as though it’s easy to upgrade the quality of bog roll. As though it grows on trees..! THESE THINGS TAKE TIME!!

  5. Full stadium update in the evil post ! Substantial progress made. They're now on plan F (but can't talk about it). I reckon given the 26 letters in the alphabet, Wally thinks he can string this out for a few more years

  6. Two years ago today they became the 6th richest club in the country. Tick tock. MTG

  7. I had a self imposed break from the forum fairly recently. I'd recommend it - every regular poster should do it now and again imo. All the more so if you're finding much of your time on OTIB is just spent arguing with others posters.

  8. Why not just stop misrepresenting what I have said? That is being dishonest, as is lying. Proof being in your nonsense about me not letting Johnson come under criticism at all. Rather to the opposite to you and Warnock, I am fine with criticism where it is due. I took issue with someone saying Johnson has awful decision making when that is demonstrably false. That does not equal me saying his decision making is perfect, and he gets it all right. I am able to communicate without foul language but you have been acting as a bit of an arse towards me lately- such as having a dig at me on a thread I hadn't commented on at the time, again misrepresenting my thoughts. As for risking a ban, if I get banned, then I get banned. Feel free to report me.

  10. I think it is no coincidence that these results happened while we were without Baker.

  11. When Leeds brought on a winger and a forward, I was screeming to learn from the Sunderland game and swap Fam for a midfielder to counteract it and stifle their play. He left it way too long when everyone could see that they were going for it with nothing to lose and looking likely to score. Great first half but why oh why Lee did you learn nothing from the Sunderland game.

  12. I thought he had a decent game today. No silly errors, a few good blocks and generally sound enough.

  13. Terrible performance from Eubank, it was obvious from the first few rounds that he needed to change tactics but hasn't got the mentality or team to change things. He has the tools to beat Groves but i fear his ego and his father are holding him back. To get instructions from Chris senior is just madness, the guy is nuts. Ultimately the guy with the most experience and better tactics won the fight easy, Eubank really needs to re-think his whole career .

  17. Made Jnr look like a pub brawler for most of the fight. Jnr needs a decent trainer and fast, hopelessly one-dimensional tonight.

  19. When we were bottom of league one, having not won a league game all season on a Tuesday night in October at home to Brentford, we still had an attendance of 10.6k. Rovers have yet to have an attendance higher than that this season....

  21. It’ll be good for ‘Bristol football’ if City get promoted to the Premiership but there won’t be any Gasheads rooting for that. Personally I don’t care about Bristol football, I only care about Bristol City who IMO are the only club in this City who have ever shown any real ambition anyway. As we’ve seen this season we are perfectly capable of providing a good impression of football in this area on our own. The longer they stay in our shadows the better. Having them in the Championship is like putting Holloway on TV....does very little to improve the tinpot, bumpkin image many outsiders have of our wonderful City.

  23. No. I hope they get relegated, get relegated again and go bust. My real preference would be to see them simply go bust and disappear without having to wait a couple of years.

  24. I have to admit that the Rovers losing, possibly, gives me greater pleasure than City winning.
