  1. Dear Nigel Please ignore my previous letters. I've only been wrong once, that is when I thought I was wrong but actually I was right all along. Kind Regards Jon
  2. I know Muslim supporters who watch City. They have not experienced any problems at all. Real progress has been made, as sadly I doubt that would have been the case in the 1980s or 90s.
  3. Fake news, they are the most loyal fans in football, everyone's second favourite team and they have more fans than City. If it hadn't been for the Champions league being on tele, rain the day before, windy, Babestation going 24 hours, an interesting documentary about pre war Austria on BBC3 there would have been another capacity crowd. P.S Reading should have brought at least 8000, pathetic, the Gas would have taken that many to their place!
  4. "So much for the hyperbolic fears of some regarding relegation a few weeks back." It is easy to be wise after the event, but did many fans honestly expect us to pick up 7 points out of 9 in the past three games? I certainly didn't, if we had only picked up 0 or even 1 or 2 points from those games, we would still need to look over our shoulder.
  5. and it didn't get them the win they needed, thankfully
  6. There was a game some time ago (before covid) against Cardiff or Swansea when there was a large mob of Willem II supporters and they were scrapping with the Welsh.
  7. He's a red hot City fan, he's been to even more City games than Rishi Sunak has been to Saints games.
  8. With those two deck chairs, are you sure that is not the Memorial Stadium? Yes, we beat Southampton!
  9. Well played yesterday Zak, one dodgy pass aside.
  10. There were so many names, it felt more like a Burma railway than City.
  11. It is interesting that under Manning we have scored only one less goal away from home than we have at Ashton. That is despite picking up many more points at home than we have away.

  13. He is a class act. Any of the stattos on here know the PPPG when he has played v PPPG when he hasn't?
  14. We can but hope, I'd take a 3-0 defeat as long as we play with passion and seek to attack them.
  15. You can pretty much guarantee it will be the performance of the season now (even better than Southampton!!!) and a thumping 3-0 win
  16. Larry Lloyd won more trophies than him surely.
  17. It is very bad, but nowhere near that bad!
  18. Interesting that you chose Alabama, because it is a little known fact that Bristol Rovers are everyone's second favourite sports team in Alabama.
  19. What's your tactical knowledge like? There may be a place in the managerial dug out available.
  20. Let us have a really good display and a thumping victory on Friday and then nobody will make any comments about his interviews. I really can't see that happening by the way and I am far from convinced he will be in post for much longer, but really hoping for City's sake and his sake he can turn this mess around.
  21. I remember City supporters in the 80s at away games up north, particularly the likes of Tranmere, singing 'we got loadsa money, loads and loads of money' and waving £5 notes at their supporters. Bristol certainly had it better than many places under Thatcher's Britain.
  22. Wrexham 1800, where were Hollywood film stars then? And the glory hunting North Wales boyos were off to Anfield or Goodison on a Saturday.
