  1. Burton and the referee are all spoilers, however we ran out of ideas after 6 minutes. The only time we switched back on was for the disallowed goal. A night of terrible crosses not beating the first man, too many flicks when we should put a foot on it, too many attempts at threaded through-balls when Burton have 8 men in the way, too many people standing still when we have the ball. Far too clueless throughout, no energy. The only players to come out of this with a decent match rating would be Flint and Baker as they have won everything in the air. Pack, Brownhill, Elliason, Paterson have all been bang average or worse.
  2. BCTV

Feed has dropped out 3 times already in the second half...
  3. BCTV

When I do get the stream to work I have another bizarre issue... Every time the ball goes out for a Burton goal kick their goal keeper goes in to slow motion.
  4. BCTV

Same as every week... it cuts out temporarily a number of times throughout the game. Anyone manged to get the "open in new window" to work? or to view on a tablet?
  5. 1) Debut: October 1983, 1-0 v York 2) Chairman: No idea... 3) Manager: Terry Cooper 4) Which division were City in?: Div. 4 5) What were the 4 sides of Ashton Gate?: Covered End (terraces) Grandstand (seating) & Enclosure in front (terraces) Open End (terraces), Dolman Stand (seating) with Schoolboy enclosure at front 6) Which part of the ground was I in that day?: Enclosure 7) Why did I first go to to AG?: From a family of City fans... it had to happen sooner or later. It just coincided with our lowest-of-the-low league position. 8) First memory: the state of the toilets, and that they opened the gates/turnstiles to the enclosure at half-time and people were wandering in for free. 9) Which City player was idolised in song that day?: I recall the manager, Terry Cooper, being idolised. 10) Memorable other chant from that day: don't recall 11) 'What got me hooked?: Not this game. I went to a few more during the remainder of the season and we won promotion in 4th place. The game that got me hooked was a pre-season game against Chelsea at the start of the following season where Kerry Dixon missed a penalty in front of the East End.
  6. The same 404 error for me.... 4 or 5 times in the first half and only once near the start of the second half.
  7. Your best loved City player

I agree with this 100%... for several seasons Tinnion was our quarterback.... those diagonal balls for Scotty to run on too... BT made it look easy and (in my memory) assisted pretty much every SM goal in Scotty's super season.
  8. How far around the globe are we spread?

There are at least 5 City fans here in the Cayman Islands... which isn't bad out of about 50,000 people of which about 8,000 are English expatriates. That said, I don't think I know who "OneTeamInKeynsham" is though.
  9. Team to play against Derby....

    Fairly defensive: _________________________________________Geifer______________________________________________ Little-----------------------------------------Flint--------------------------------Wright----------------------------------------------Golbourne --------------------------------------------------GON/Pack----------------Hegeler----------------------------------------------- ---------------Cotterill-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bryan----------- ------------------------------------------------------------Tomlin/Brownhill------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------Taylor/Duric-------------------------------------------------------------
  10. Lastest on new manager

If the bookmakers are anything to go by then it's Lee Johnson. That said, we have seen several short-priced favourites go back to longer odds. Interesting to me that Southgate and Sherwood odds are now lowering... both should have decent contacts and attract some bigger names (certainly more so than LJ could at present). Just a shame the latest transfer window has come and gone.
  11. Little Lee

The odds on Lee Johnson have fallen quickly today... 5/2 on skybet from 10's - he wouldn't be my pick, and we have seen Appleton, Pearson, Pearce all go to short odds before moving back out.
