  1. Worth watching Manchester on Sunday,to see what were up against

Yep, and Mourinho should be commended for that!
  2. It's Started Grrrrrrrr

membrobilia Souveniers or memorobilia of you and your "bros" or you and your bros remember This apparently....
  3. It's Started Grrrrrrrr

Not my cup of tea, but can see why people would buy them. Would think people buy them as a piece of membrobilia of the game, a keepsake. Personally wouldn't waste my money, rather have a programme.
  4. Rooney goal tonight

Hasn't Rooney scored the most competitive goals for England? Thought i'd read it somewhere! Not to gloss over Greaves and Charlton's England records but didn't they start their England careers in the day's of 2-3-5! Even Lineker scored a lot of goals against dross, back in the day when we would put 8 past Turkey, 4 of his were against a Malaysian XI. Didn't score in 2 European Championships. Did show up in the World Cup though.
  5. SPOTY 2017

About time they changed the title to Sporting Achievement of The Year. Can't really argue with any of the nominees on a sporting achievement level but personalities.... Would love to have seen Jermaine Defoe on that list. Mo or Joshua for me.
  6. If only English goal scorers counted!

Oh and Wolves would be bottom.
  7. If only English goal scorers counted!

    We would be top
  8. England can/can England win the World Cup?

I do love a Sunday afternoon drinking session
  9. Play offs

Still too early for me... Similar position after 30 games then I'll start thinking about play-offs, promotion. But what a fantastic start to the season it has been.
  10. Supporting two teams?

Personally I think it's possible to support 2 teams passionately. All comes down to circumstance. Mine, being a football mad kid my first memory of football was the 82 World Cup and Bryan Robson scoring that goal against France, became an instant hero of mine and has been ever since. The following season he scored in both the FA Cup semi-final and 2 in the replay against Brighton and hero worship was bestowed! Now my parents wouldn't take me to a City or Rovers game due to football violence in the 80's! But bizarrely would take me to Utd games ( still no idea why ) so I got to see Robson in the flesh and United became my team. Although I followed the results for City in the paper I had no real feelings for them until I signed Schoolboy forms for them at 14, got free a free ticket back then, so badgered my dad into taking me down and that was the start of the City love in! Bob Taylor and David Smith were my City heros and so to was Andy Cole, who became a firm favourite when he signed for United. But my earliest memories, my footballing education, the emotions ( crying as a 10 year old when Robson did his shoulder at the 86 World Cup ) was all about him and United. I don't see how you can just switch that off. But City are my home club, the place I was born so yeah I do feel passionately about both clubs and anyone who knows me will back that up!
  11. Is klopp a flopp?

Klopp could end up paying the price for not sorting out the defence. Two years into the job and in no better state than when he arrived. Poor management in my view. Wouldn't be sorry to see the back of him to be fair. Comes across as just as bad as the others with his excuses. He was moaning about Utds offside goal in pretty much every interview he gave after. Whinging about the Dec fixture list. Lost count of the amount of times he's in the 4th officials face and manhandled them. The over-reaction to pretty much every goal ( Conte gets on my wick with this as well ) really winds me up. Could go on....
  12. Gordon Ramsay on cocaine.....TV programme.

I would imagine the percentage of tee total cokeheads is low. The reason I say alcohol and coke go. hand in hand is mainly because of the amount of people who say their biggest problem wasn't the coke it was the alcohol! They'd start drinking and then the craving for coke would kick in. Most said once they'd addressed the alcohol problem, the coke problem wasn't such a problem! I just find it strange that with the destruction that alcohol causes, it's not held in the same disdain as smoking and drug taking.
  13. Gordon Ramsay on cocaine.....TV programme.

It seems this country has the biggest problem with it within Europe as well. Although, I have to say no bigger than the problem we have with Alcohol. From what I've read one seems to lead to the other! Don't really know how you combat it sadly.
  14. Craig Shakespeare

Daft sacking considering since he got the job he has the best record outside the big 6 and the only games they've lost this season are against United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.
  15. The Official Bristol City v Burton Albion Match Day Thread 12

My guess is, it looks a good game to give Elliasson or Leko a chance but not both. Reckon Elliasson has been patient enough. Deserves a start.
