  2. Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) Kind Gesture

    Roberto Firmino
  3. Boris Johnson On The World Cup

    Johnson out!
  4. Time for 3.5.2

    Flint would suit that

Looks like me and my brother will lose our seats we have had for a couple years, travelling up from Plymouth is costly enough and I don’t have the money readily available at this short notice. Gutted but the clubs entitled to do as it pleases. May just have to be a handful of away games next season!
  6. Reading v Sheff Utd

A Sheffield United win may be the rocket a few of our players need up their a**e!
  7. Vyner

https://pasoti.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=102798 - continues to massively impress, managed to catch a couple games living in Plymouth and he looks ready for starts with us. Coming on leaps and bounds. One comment from the link - "Not sure about Matthews, but we've no chance with Vyner - he's going to play in the Premier League, he's certainly got the talent."
  8. Am I Being Annoyed For No Reason?

Happens every time in S24, instead of entering between S24/25 I now enter between S23/24, no checking whatsoever. Last time I went through S24/25 I was stopped 3 times, overkill. I have full awareness of my seat location after ffs
  9. Tomorrow night and Sunday

Big. Huge. Massive. Humongous. We absolutely need to do everything in our power as fans to help our team get the results we need over the next 4 days. A win tomorrow coupled with a Cardiff defeat and we will travel to Wales on Sunday with a realistic possibility of cutting the gap to second place to just 2 points. Alternatively we could be go 14 points behind Cardiff on Sunday. Plenty of different scenarios to ponder and we simply need to do the business if we are serious about mounting a serious pursuit for promotion. We need to get behind the boys and even if we fall behind tomorrow, keep an atmosphere going, we saw the difference the Leeds fans made on the weekend and if needs be we need to do the same. We all happily sit here and slag off a player who didn't put 100% effort into a game in an effort to win so why should we be any different? Johnson talks a lot about the fine line between success and failure and as fans if we can help the team by even a fraction of a percentage mentally, then we should be absolutely doing just that. After the season we have already had, the memorable Manchester United win and all the positivity surrounding the club in general this season, these players absolutely deserve us fans to be at our best tomorrow and for the rest of the season. Who knows where it may take us. Despite this run we are still within touching distance. Now or never. COYR
  10. Come on Villa...

Preston have been favourites to win ever since Villa scored, seems strange
  11. Hi all Looking for one ticket for Sunday. If anyone has a spare please let me know, happy to pay straight away - please PM me. MODS - Please delete if not appropriate - just thought it was worth a shot!
  12. Bristol City u23 v Liverpool u23

Could O'Neill be the reason we didn't get a right-back in? He's played there numerous times in his career including a play-off final I believe? A fit Gary O'Neill could be a real bonus for us from now to the end of the season, he'd have been a good option to bring on against Sunderland at 3-2. Really hope he can be a big influence on the squad for his experience at least.
  13. The Run In

    Balls! Fulham - 168 Preston - 177 Aston Villa - 183 Derby County - 185 Cardiff City - 185 Middlesbrough - 195 Bristol City - 201 Sheffield United - 203
  14. The Run In

Bit bored in my lunch break yesterday... Using a simple formula I have calculated who has the toughest run in purely based on league positions at this current stage. I have added the league position of each team together that we are each yet to play. The toughest run in is predicted by scoring the lowest overall number, which suggests the team is generally due to play tougher (higher placed) teams during the run in. I have excluded Wolves as they are as good as promoted and missed out teams below Middlesbrough, although on reflection I suppose nothing is stopping anyone having a great end of season run. These were the results: Fulham - 168 Preston - 177 Aston Villa - 183 Derby County - 185 Cardiff City - 185 Middlesbrough - 195 Bristol City - 201 Sheffield United - 203 TOUGHEST AVERAGE FAVOURABLE On paper it looks as if we have a decent run-in, but as we know anyone can beat anyone on their day in this league and after Saturday I'm not so sure you can read much into this! I thought it was worth posting anyway.
