  1. Danny Rose

Rose was definitely played on the left wing here, but he'd only played on the wing for Spurs up until that point (he scored from the right wing on his debut against Arsenal with a young Gareth Bale playing on the left and Assou-Ekoto at LB). It wasn't until he went back to Spurs later that season after his loan was ended with us that 'Arry decided to convert him to a LB: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/9475303.stm Looked completely disinterested here and certainly didn't show any attributes to imply LB was going to be his future position. We'd have happily played him there that season as we were still relying on Macca who was in quite poor form at the start of the 2010-11 season.
  2. South Stand Nachos

Me and my brother shared a portion of them. They were absolutely delicious! Incredibly messy though as the bowls were stuffed to the brim, which is why we chose to eat them in our seats. Can't imagine the carnage we'd have unleashed on ourselves if we'd have tried eating them standing up in the concourse.
  3. Liam Rosenior

  4. Liam Rosenior

Didn't we arrange a trial for him in the summer of 2010 maybe, and then he signed for Hull without even notifying City he wasn't going to turn up for the trial?
  5. Players that were better "live" than you thought.

Saw James Milner for Villa against Pompey in the Prem a few years back. He used to play as a number 10 then behind Agbonlahor and basically ran the game. Very calm on the ball and played countless pinpoint through-balls. It was a shame he went to Man City as he was so good on the ball in the middle of the park that he was wasted out on the right wing.
  6. Palace at Home

Freedman I imagine? Think he lasted a few games that season before being replaced by Hollowhead.
  7. players slept in their own beds on Monday night / Midweek Record (Merged)

I think the article is specifically referring to Tuesday night games in the Championship, we obviously won some when back in League 1.
  8. Youth development. Puzzled? I am.

LJ implied in his interview about the transfer window as a whole that Leko was actually offered to us based on how well Tammy did here, and that he's of a level of quality that we'd have been stupid to turn it down. So maybe we didn't actively look to sign a winger on loan but this situation was too good to turn down.
  9. Obscurest City Players

Scored a great goal against Wolves, meant we won the 2nd half 1-0! Sadly we were already 4-0 down at HT
  10. Obscurest City Players

Sean Davis, loaned from Bolton: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_Davis_(footballer) Looks like after a career blighted by injuries the one he picked up on loan to us was the straw that broke the camel's back, never played again.
  11. Obscurest City Players

Andy Keogh. Scored 1 goal on loan in a 4-0 win for City away at PNE, was also Woolford's debut.
  12. Joe Bryan

He was fantastic against Plymouth, didn't even seem to break a sweat!
  13. Question about bcfc.co.uk

Obviously one for the club but I wasn't sure who was best to contact! Love the new look website, it's better in virtually every way from the cut-and-paste EFL template we used to have. However one thing that seems to be missing now is a season statistics page. I really like looking up top scorers/assists/discipline/minutes played etc but now have to resort to looking at third party websites as City don't have a page with this on anymore (unless it's hidden away somewhere and I've completely missed it). Is this something that could be looked into/added in the future? Would be nice if it included some historic stats from before this season too but appreciate this might not be possible.
  14. Gas in the next round anyone?

The JPT game summed up for me why I don't want us being drawn against Rovers. The game itself was fantastic, 2 of the best goals I've seen us score and a brilliant atmosphere, all marred by a bunch of brainless thugs causing problems at the end which resulted in fines for the clubs and proper football fan's names being pulled through the mud again in the national press thanks to the actions of a few. These games always attract those types, they never step foot inside of AG except for the chance to run on the pitch/get into a scrap/spend the entire 90 minutes shouting at the away end. Not for me ta.
  15. Matty Taylor

The lie was so convincing that they even made Matty pose in the background of the video with Steve Allen (physio) pretending he had to do extra gym work to get over his fake injury! Đurić was with him, is his injury made up too? Do the club's lies know no bounds?!?!?!
