Afternoon all, i was just wondering if there are any Taunton based city fans who might be up for a lift share to any home games this season? I’ve been a season ticket holder for 14 years or so now, started going when i was younger with my grandad who started taking me and we’ve gone together ever since. Unfortunately due to health reasons though he is no longer able to attend. With a combination of moving house, lockdown, getting married and now having a kid it’s been difficult to meet other city fans in the area so thought i would put the feelers out to see if anyone would be up for this? Would be happy to drive/contribute towards petrol. I work in WSM on a Tuesday/Wednesday for midweek games so not sure about travel plans for those games yet but certainly for weekend games i’ll be setting off from Taunton. Looking forward to hopefully a much more promising season ahead!

Grandads Team - Bristol City…eventually. He followed Rovers because his son (my uncle) is a big Rovers fan but i asked him to take me to a city game when i was younger and we’ve been season ticket holders ever since! Dad's team - Not interested in football unfortunately, or sport full stop for that matter unless it involves motorbikes! Mum's team - Bristol City but only due to my interest, otherwise she’s not overly interested. Local team - Taunton Town. I live close but have never been, really should take in a game someday soon! For those of us choosing not to / unable to attend tomorrow for whatever personal reasons they see fit, is there a way we can still watch the game online / on TV? Preferably without having to take a virtual flight around Europe but failing that, what are the options (never used a VPN before)? As others have alluded to, it’s never an easy decision to choose to not attend a game that we otherwise would have been at (even if the quality of the football over recent seasons has tried it’s best to push people away) so it would be great to still cheer the boys on even if only from the living room.

I’m usually one of those people that knows if city are playing at home, it doesn’t matter of the circumstances or what it takes to make it happen, i will be there as i hate the thought of missing it. I have to be honest though, I’m seriously considering it this Saturday too. With Christmas just around the corner and a wife who’s 7 months pregnant, i’m like a few others wishing the decision would be taken out of my hands. Is the game available on Robins TV for all or just those outside the UK like it used to be? That would certainly make the decision a little easier.

Ah ok thanks. Can’t see anything online though? I don’t live local so shop visits are limited to matchdays but the shop is always so busy! I might have to give it another go at the Huddersfield game.
