  1. That squad was so well built. Formation and style established Signings made early Round pegs in round holes Mix of youth and experience Manager who seemed excited to be at work Maximum of one liability player (in this instance JET)
  2. Wanted a Celtic win, but means the title could be decided by the final old firm game. Great title race this year
  3. Great Post The reason I've not been to AG in 6 years is the removal (and shameful way they tried to remove it) of lower rates for disabled fans. I appreciate that disability is a very broad brush, and many who qualify for that rate choose to not take it, especially if they are still able to work. However if you are unable to work, and rely on the state or family, you should get a reduced rate. If you asked everyone at AG to describe football in one word, I'm sure the word 'family' would feature highly. It is that idea of family, and belonging, which means we should make AG as inclusive as possible, not an exclusive club for Jacks.
  4. When the club went for our disabled fans 5 years ago, I handed my ST back and have not been to AG since. The club have treated fans very poorly for a long time. Sadly its taken bad football to make people angry. Don't renew, don't go.
  5. We’re pleased to say that your Nottingham Forest v Bristol City tickets will be available to collect from the Ticket Office at tonight’s Bristol City v Leeds United fixture. The Ticket Office will be open from 17:00-20:15 tonight. Please use the Ticket Collections queue, which will be on the left-hand side as you approach the Ticket Office. We strongly urge you to arrive as early as possible to collect your tickets at the Leeds United match. If you aren’t attending the match against Leeds, you can also collect your tickets at the following times: Saturday, February 3rd 2024: 10:00-16:00 from the Bristol Sport Store Monday, February 5th 2024: 12:00-16:00 from the Bristol Sport Store Tuesday, February 6th 2024: 10:00-16:00 from the Bristol Sport Store Wednesday, February 7th 2024: 10:00-14:30 from the Bristol Sport Store For those that are unable to collect from Ashton Gate at any of the above times, you will be able to collect at Nottingham Forest’s ground at the Away Ticket Office which is located at the corner of the Brian Clough and Bridgford Stands, approximately an hour before kick-off. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at Ashton Gate for tonight’s sold out match!
  6. I've got a lot of issues with the club, and for that reason have been an away fan only for almost 6 years now. However something the club has got right recently is the pathway from the academy to the first team. I'd rather watch local players like Max, who may not be world beaters, than a team of Mercenaries.
  7. I'd always like the idea of encorperating the houses into the stand, with the front doors becoming turnstiles.
  8. You can't know what's happened behind the scenes. Promises may have been made and broken. Save judgement till you know all the facts.
  9. Always balance the books. To not do so is asking to be the next Reading. If you can give yourself the reputation of good football, and a proven record of moving players to the top flight, you will find good FL players will be more likely to join us as we're a good bet for their future. We won't get their best, but they'll give us better than most championship sides.
  10. 00s Basso 10s Adomah 20s Only been to a few away games till SL goes so can't comment
  11. No attempt to get her right leg down. Naivety at its best
  12. N.Ireland play in green without any green on their flag
  13. I adored Beckham as a kid. I even had the duvet set. Believed him to be the best player in the world. Now that was never true, but I think the soap opera that he created has slightly fogged our memories of him as a player in both directions. Some above posts talk about how overrated he was, and others how underrated he was. For me, you have to listen to those he played with, and against. Almost everyone points out how good he was to play with, how hard he trained, how professional he was, and what a good leader he was. For me, a deserved England great
