  1. good luck boys . at my age and in my condition I would strugle to walk 10k in a day so my best wishes to you all .enjoy it while you can
  2. done.easy to do .very much relates to us at this time
  3. out, tried to give him benefit of doubt but thats all run out
  4. as Russell says each to their own. We have renewed and did not give it too much thought. maybe a moments hesitation but that was all. on a slightly different slant it appears things are tightening up in the booking office, a friend has been asked for proof of age for an U12. anyone else had this?
  5. get well soon Gary
  6. so is this what most of the Atyeo want?
  7. too many people on here trying to score points off each other, the result ends up the same as the team pointless
  8. this was not meant as a rally call just a request that we respect each others views, i am not firmly in either camp, I want L.J. out but will not take part in protests I respect S.L. for what he has done for the club but admit all the mistakes he seems to make I am not a singer but love to hear them around me for the atmosphere I do not stand but understand those who want to, just please not in front of me. so you see I am right in middle ground which I believe is where a lot of fans are and believe that many do not post for fear of being insulted or ridiculed for their views
  9. thanks for proving my point
  10. Is not where we are or how we got there. it is not even who is to blame. NO The biggest shame is how we are letting the situation divide us. The forum is dividing into groups who have started to call each other unacceptable names. it does not matter if you want L.J. or S.L. out, it does matter if you blame the players or Bristol Sport. it does not matter if you want protest or not There are no Ultras or Happy Clappers. what there are is a large group of people who want the best for this club , whatever that happens to be. so please respect each others opinions and remember we will be here when all those we are discussing have left
  11. just a request L.J. PLEASE pick an 18 player squad for the rest of your time here, stick with them only changing if there are injuries PLEASE pick a formation, an attacking one with 2 strikers..stick with that for the rest of your time an added request for S.L. please let these players know if they take us down they come down too ...refuse to sell them to anyone above the league we are in
  12. looking at replies so far and wondering if football in general has got better or worse. no where near as entertaining and lost a lot of its soul
  13. you could be right GR had forgotten Mick Harford
  14. realise theres a gap but listed those as my favourites of the type. not saying they were the best just the ones I enjoyed watching the most. after all surely Joe Royle also falls in that group
  15. Just to get the subject changed for once thought I would express my views on "my type of player" we all know that football has altered much over the years ,certainly in my long viewing time so just what is your type of player? I am unwavering in my support of the old type big man somewhat of a disappearing breed . in my time my top 3 in order that they appeared for the club were 1 Paul Cheesley a player who in my opinion would have been an England forward if injury had not cut his playing time 2 Jon Steed still playing he was a player who had a good relationship with the fans 3 Wilbs did not strike many as a great signing but still puts himself about far more than many younger than him those are my choices ,anyone like to give theirs. can be any position and from any era as long as you saw them play
