Albert replied to Harry's topic in Football Chatwhy would it be a stupid thing to say?? dont you make choices about everything you buy ans do with some of it based on price??? Will those leaving for 15 minutes . keep hold of your toys and dont stamp your feet too loud!! and then come back when youve grown up
Albert replied to Thatwasclose's topic in Football ChatDont see why ajyone should be blaming lj on this one. A player lsigns a contract for x period of time for good money and should be kai8ng every effort to play during that time. IMO refusing to play makes that player a complete knob who should be fined his wages fr that period. Added to that LF has not made the step up in standard, thanks for one good season in L1 and good riddance
Albert replied to Poshtottie's topic in Football ChatIve heard some rubbish in my time, does the OP donate his wages if he has a bad day at work? Pay double subs if he plays and his team lose? Yes the runs not acceptable , Yes the final blame falls with the manager... but that is the game of football sometimes. Good goals beat you (Forest) Poor refereeing beats you (Reading away) sometimes it is not down to tactics or how much effort you put in , the Championship is so even between sides this year it is incredible and we are on the wrong end of it, some due to the manager, some to the players and shockingly enough some due to quality opponents !! To suggest that if you dont win you give your wages away is laughable. What did anybody expect apart from a rallying cry from Steve Lansdown ??
