  1. BCTV

Audio Stream not working for me either, for others having the same problem there is live commentary on Talk Sport 2.
  2. Cardiff - Back to 12 Noon on Saturday!

I'm struggling to understand this, A&S can't provide enough PSU resources then why haven't they put it out for mutual aid from other forces. For those that don't know it's where other forces share resources and provide staff for key events. I'd love to know A&S reasoning for not back filling resources via mutual aid.
  3. With the risk of annoying others I just thought I would offer my opinion of the game tonight. Thought Kelly was okay, someone else mentioned his head dropping in the first half after he lost the ball a few times and as stated he showed guts to keep asking for the ball and showing. Zac was steady and I thought the better "defender" of the two full backs, don't really see either as being ready for the first team but they both have enough about them to suggest they will get a chance at some point. Morrell was busy, great engine and really box to box, thought he put himself about and he did seem to look for a pass forward early which was good. He reminded me of Scott Brown but technically better for those that remember him. Same sort of industry and build. Famara didn't seem to link up that well during the first half, to be fair to him we didn't offer him much of anything down the channels and he didn't get the chance in behind. He had a couple of pot shots and tried to make things happen but I'm sure that more will come. Gustav was excellent, good work rate and tried to pull the centre backs apart first half by moving into the wider channels, second half he was more the main striker and played well when running no in behind and his composure for the first goal was excellent. Really think that there is a player in there! Let's hope that he kicks on from this. Trialist is "John" someone I think, sure that's what I heard Flint calling him. As mentioned he was little lightweight and stood off a touch and seemed a little off the pace, first touch was good though and I'm in no way knocking a young lad who is trying to make his way in the game. Just felt he didn't run at the Cheltenham defence enough when he had a couple of chance to. Ivan looked good and commanded his area well, good hands and took a couple of crosses coming through players which was good. Korey was great, looks much more like lg1 Korey and he's back and fully fit. O'dowda had a great run first half where he beat about five or six and got a shot off that hit the bar, still think he needs to do more. Patterson was good, bright and surging into wide areas, first touch was excellent and two cracking crosses. Special mention to Reid who played just off Gustav in the second half. Cheltenham struggled to pick him up and his goal and interplay was top stuff. Overall we looked decent against a Cheltenham side that's put a shift in for an hour. Clearly a couple of players short in key areas but the players we currently have should be able to compete against the majority of sides in the championship IF they are set up correctly
  4. Thank Bob it's matchday Brentford thread

Have to say the players have to accept responsibility for that half, The lack of work rate is down to them. LJ has picked the same side but whats let us down in that half is the decisions players have made at key moments. Brentford have been decent but lets be clear to a man we have been woeful.
  5. Thank Bob it's matchday Brentford thread

Seems Brentford have done the homework in regards to us, No doubt they are targeting our full backs. Korey is standing off Canos and is getting skinned. Joe is back to his worst and this could be a real hammering if we aren't careful. Tomlin is dropping back and we are harassing and chasing down like we did against Huddersfield, I just don't get why we worked so hard to stop Huddersfield playing and it paid off yet in todays game we seem to be standing off and letting them play and we have been punished.
  6. Tammy

Top top player is Tammy, he has a real chance of going all the way. Natural goal scoring ability and a great attitude. He was pumping the air at the final whistle and was straight onto the pitch to celebrate with the other players. What's impressed me more than anything is his willingness to learn this season, he's clearly learnt how to play with his back to goal as the lone striker and I thought his control and strength tonight were superb. I reckon a season long loan at a newly promoted Newcastle next season and a break through into the England squad. I've enjoyed watching Tammy this season and I'm sure one day I'll be able to say I saw him play for Bristol City when he's banging goals in for Chelsea. Don't know his background but credit to the young man for wanting to learn the game and improve, doesn't seem to be the big I am at all.
  7. The squeaky bum Fulham match night thread

    Probably got money on it.....
  8. The squeaky bum Fulham match night thread

We certainly got out of jail a few times early on in the season. The first game against Wigan saw us pulled apart for the goal, LJ threw on three attacking subs which saw us nick the game but I remember walking out thinking we had got lucky. We then went away to Wycombe and nicked a result by the odd goal, Away to Burton and stole the game late on. The late goals in a number of games papered over cracks and I hope that those early points may just be enough to keep us up. Make no mistake though, we are where we are in the league on merit. The results and performances have been woeful since Forest at home.
  9. Cardiff Televised?? (Merged)

No player not working for me either
  10. Online ticketing very slow today.

I also purchased tickets this morning at just after 10:00, have to say the website was great and it took me two minutes start to finish. Its a strange feeling isn't it? Not having to phone up and sit in a queue before being eventually hung up on or having a substandard website crashing over and over again! In fact it's very in Bristol City in every regard!
