No more domestic broadcasts online as of next season

It says that Sky will stream 328 matches per season for the Championship. I didn't realise Leeds played that many games in a season.- 91 replies

He obviously hadn't got the email saying not to award penalties to us. I expect he'll be relegated to League 2 for Saturday's games as a result.

Yes, we're going off topic a little but I remember the journey to that game - we were all excited that we'd just signed a player who had just returned from the World cup - oh how long that excitement lasted!
-
And that's so true -my 24 year old is full of optimism come Friday evening and Saturday morning but by 15:05 he becomes inconsolable and best avoided until just before the next game.

Child abuse! You'll be submitting him to a life time of disappointment and needing to drown his sorrows in a bottomless pint of cide Oh, and congratulations.

I think it's Ben White's decision to make himself unavailable for England duty.

The last time I was there some very friendly ladies - although they did make the women in Chasers look like MIss World contestants. A few beers soon recitified the situation though

Bristol City - the most mid-table club ever?

But it's all very exciting - we beat Southampton (really we did), and then we can convince ourselves we'll make the play-offs and then we lose a few on the trot and convince ourselves we'll be relegated. It would be interesting to see which club supporters suffer the most heart attacks - we must be near the top! -
The End of the Beginning and the Beginning of the end

Can't be bothered to read the thread - it's just a rehash of what's gone before but, Manning will still be here next season. -

How come I can watch this on WBATV although I'm having to listen to some **** in co commentary. -
Does your friend feel an attraction to sheep? That could be the clincher if so.

Well I would.

Is he in the picture? Didn't notice.

Space Invaders was always my thing. Pitch Invaders never had the same ring about it and didn't have any aliens.

I remember Alan Dicks saying the exact same thing during our promotion year to the 1st Division.

Manning's under development, he needs more time
cheese replied to reddogkev's topic in Football Chat
I do, I can't see any other reason for the timing. Nobody who doesn't get carried away by the occassional win honestly thought we'd get promoted this season did they? I know I didn't believe JL's pronouncement that we had a "top 6 squad". -

As I see it, Nige created a team of greyhounds (runners) whereas Manning (also read Tinnion) wants a team of intelligent footballers. Not enough of our current squad fit into that category. Now you can argue until you're blue in the face that Manning should adapt to the squad he has and play to their strengths but that's not what he was brought in to do. It will be painful until he has the players he wants. The hierarchy decided that we were safe from relegation this season and so November was the best time to press the button. Whether they were right on timing we shall see. Whether they were right on the appointment depends on us staying up and then seeing what happens next season. -
Probably the best stats the World has ever seen. In fact, statisticians often marvel at those stats, they are beautiful things, beautiful. Much better than sleepy Joe's stats.

Sheffield Wednesday away match thread

You really don't want the M42. Get off the M5 at Tewkesbury, follow the A46 up through Evesham and Coventry, M69-->M1. -
I've booked in at Asda just by the ground using JustPark - £4 well spent I think. Reviews say it's not affected by road closures for the game. Fingers crossed.
