  1. Cricket what a god awful game. The only sport I can think of that has more inactive time than active. Sums it up when you get action replays of the bowlers grimaces. Reckon it only survives as there is no creditable summer alternative.
  2. Is it only me that find these Lee Tomlin jibes cheep and predictable?
  3. Not striped socks , please!!!
  4. Agree that this forum is head and shoulders over our peers. Only one that I have come across which comes close is Blackbums. Well done @Tomarse
  5. Bookies stopped quoting odds on our relegation, that tells u a lot.
  6. Some of the prawn sandwich seats are available in W13 & W15
  7. Yes an unforgettable night. Followed up by a lock in in The Imp.
  8. It's open. http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/lansdown-stand-upper-tier-open-on-final-day-3684451.aspx
  9. We really do need a 'Dislike this' button
  10. Can't make up my mind what's the best outcome for us. All three permutations have merit. On balance I think a Birmingham win would be best as it leaves Burton further adrift and may mean Brum are home and hosed by the time we play them.
  11. Appointed as the new Grimsby manager again. Third team this season! Talk about a journeyman
  12. Fixed that for you.
  13. Agree went for the same 2. Champagne moment Flint's goal v Wigan (hopefully the catalyst for us kicking on and gaining safety.
  14. On Sky Sports live. KO 5.30
  15. Jury's out for me. The first few games I thought he was excellent. Aside from his quality deliveries he was also committing the full back and getting past. More recently he seems to have gone into his shell - perhaps dragged down by the general malaise in the team. Certainly doesn't like to get stuck in and not sure he is wholly committed. That said there is no denying he's the best we have with set pieces. Overall I don't see too much difference from his predecessor Freeman
