  1. This forum can really annoy me sometimes, especially with a poll like this, how ridiculous and pathetic.
  2. If Semenyo is so sought after then his price to leave should be at the highest offer we can get, let them all keep raising their offers until it suit's us, if not he stays, simple's! Don't want him to leave, he's a bit special, but all players have a price, let it go up and up!
  3. A new prolific striker would be good, no matter who!
  4. Been a season ticket holder for many many years, and been down the gate since I was 11 years old, being an old git now with walking issues, I would happily pay the price of my season ticket to be able to watch City on BCTV as I can no longer make the games, home or away, which was the usual things I did. Really miss the gate, only made a few games at home last season, and none away, would love to watch every one of their games, no matter what the cost!
  5. Must admit the songs down Ashton Gate for the last few seasons have been cr*p, in the seventies the good old East End sang from start to finish even when we were losing, come on everyone get it sorted, come on you reds is a bit boring now, time to invent something a bit better. There was always songs for the various players years ago, there's a few now but not many, most of the away fans seem to all have many different songs for their players, team or club, we seem a bit lacking in this respect!
  6. IMO, listening to big Nige, he thinks our club has done things very wrong in the past, basically every time we have developed/bought good players, we go ahead and sell them, exactly correct! We have never kept these players and built on the strengths of these players for the following season. TBH we have got a great group of youngsters that are attracting an awful lot of attention from other clubs, and I do believe NP wants to develop these even more, he will obviously want to make additions to enhance the squad, and give some of the up and coming U23's a chance to break into the first team squad. The last thing reading between the lines, he wants is for us to sell these valuable assets and we are back to square one. If this happens I'm sure he will be really pi**ed off, and would probably call it a day with Bristol City. I know having had a business myself you have to balance the books, but with our youth development (which is very good) that surely has to be the way forward and not sell our best players unless we really have to. I do believe the football has vastly improved recently with a few stupid mistakes, and inconsistency being a major factor. Rant over!
  7. Absolutely correct, I think our youngsters are brilliant, and are blending well into the squad, this has to be the way forward along with a few experienced players to assist them. TBH it seems we have a very good academy system, which we need to really embrace, along with a few players like Massengo signed through our scouting system. If we could get a few more like him that would be brilliant. I do think big Nige is starting to gradually sort things out, the football has certainly improved, just need the results to start coming for us.
  8. May as well sell him, he's the best player at the club, and we always sell these, that's why we are in the lower half (and struggling) of the Championship
  9. Get it on BCTV or ifollow, and a least the club will get money out of it, love to go but not with this getting worse! Just have to listen to it on radio Bristol, and watch Sky at the same time
  10. I do honestly think the games on Saturdays should be once again be televised, unfortunately City are not in partnership with ifollow, which televises games (even though the gas are!) and BCTV are also not allowed to televise these games due to EFL rules, about time this is addressed with the state of the Covid thing, I certainly will not risk going down the gate at the moment, and will miss the games that I would be going to attend, so frustrating!!
  11. Not sure who our tea lady is, however she get's lot's of mentions on lot's of posts, maybe she should get a chance!
  12. Sorry I am in the minority, I believe you get a better perspective of the game sat higher up.
  13. I agree with you totally, just think we miss these players.
