  1. Biggest City sick note

Fair, I suppose in this day in age where everyone is becoming easily offended its easier to block everybody when they have the slightest negative thing to say. Next it will be called a hate crime for saying #announceinjury, expecting the 6am knock now.
  2. Biggest City sick note

Don't worry, I only tweeted when a team lineup was announced for a pre-season game and simply put #announceinjury he then blocked me. Seems to be a little bit on the easily offended side.
  3. Biggest City sick note

He was just crap wasn't he?
  4. Biggest City sick note

Gary O'Neil just for the wages - 15K per week (reportedly) - great pedigree though Ribeiro - such a shame for what seemed to be a promising young full back at the time. One person who wasn't necessarily a sick note, more just a waste of wages was Jody Morris (still dont know what he actually did other than get p**sed up)
  5. Clough knows it .

I could argue that just because you assume that due to this "pedigree" a player is automatically going to be great is also a "silly point of view".
  6. Clough knows it .

So have a lot of players at this level doesn't mean they are going to be better. I see you glossed over my point about it applying to our other midfielders too. So by definition you are saying that both Smith and Pack need to be replaced to move up?
  7. Clough knows it .

That means absolutely nothing, there are many players who have had "Pedigree" come to us over the years and be terrible... A certain Bolton player springs to mind. In terms of shooting, I haven't seen Hegeler have many shots in the games he's played. The same question marks you have over Pack could be applied to any of our midfield (with the exception of Brownhill for shooting) in that case.
  8. Clough knows it .

What are you basing Hegeler being a quality player on? Because the games that I have seen whilst he is playing in midfield he wouldn't improve it as we are at the moment.
  9. Clough knows it .

Probably just as poor as the Hegeler over Pack one tbf. There's a reason why he has been chosen as a CB backup and not pushing for a midfield place. If Pack were to be replaced it would need to be with a Hourihane type player as it was alluded to before, not Hegeler...
  10. Clough knows it .

Hegeler over Pack? Ok, next joke please.
  11. Eliasson, not a good 55 minutes

Thought he was ok, looked like the only player who could cross a ball, unlike Bryan who has his worst offensive game of the season by far.
  12. High quality midfielder required in Jan

His passing was shocking due to the lack of movement in front of him. Woodrow was a statue for most of it and gave no option for Pack to pass forward to. Pack is by far our best passing CM but if the options aren’t there, how is he supposed to make passes?
  13. Potential Bristol City podcast.

Wow, that anecdote about the tea at the start was riveting! Said no-one ever!
  14. Midfield pairing

    Changed it now
  15. Midfield pairing

On current form I would say out best partnership is any of the following: Pack & Smith Smith & Brownhill Both partnerships have shown that they have a good understanding of each other, I dont think you could choose one over the other. I would be happy with any of those in the starting line up. Must admit at the start of the season, probably wouldn't have had Smith in there, however with the confidence he is playing with he is getting back to the player we saw in his first season, Pack is great for the spreading the ball and the disguised passes between the lines and Brownhill for his scoring ability.
