  1. Next 5 League Games

Leeds W Sunderland W Fulham D Finish October unbeaten in 15 and 2nd or 3rd in the league!
  2. City to finish in the top 2 spots?

Top 2 is not unrealistic or unachievable, we have had a very good start.. playing some excellent football with results reflecting that. There's certainly no one to fear in the championship, there's no nailed on Newcastle, Brighton or Burnley like in previous years.. but make no mistake there are still some very good teams in the division. I think we'll be somewhere between 4th-10th, but for example if were sitting 5th with 10 games to go and we end well who knows. Key this year will be when we do lose 2 on the bounce is how we bounce back if it's straight away then we may well be right up there.. if it turns into a third and fourth lose etc then we may finish further down. It's an old cliché but take game by game, as said previously if were in the top 6 at Xmas still in reach of the top 2 who knows.
  3. Hull Tickets - £12

Crikey fair play to them, that's extremely cheap might mean a few more travel up.. although cant see many more than 500 going.
  4. Anyone can beat anyone

Very true, but we should of lost to Brentford and we didn't.
  5. Strachan Gone

    Mcinnes possibly?
  6. We can go 2nd on friday

Welcome Lukas. There are several pubs that large numbers of home fans occupy before games.. The Rising Sun & The Robins are very close to the ground.. The Three Lions is a bit further away from the ground but is a superb pub. As for something to eat.. it you stumble across the Clarks Pie Van near the Rising Sun, their pies are fantastic. A real West Country treat. With your seats being near the singing section, the atmosphere should be excellent, as it has been all season so far. English fans, tend to leave it quite late with regards to entering the stadium as Phantom mentioned. half hour before kick off is plenty of time. Enjoy your visit to Bristol and enjoy watching Bristol's best & biggest football club play.
  7. I bet Cauley Woodrow would love to start on friday night

Probably doesn't benefit us starting a player that Burton would be very knowledgeable about. Diedhiou & Reid will both be well rested.. I fully expect them to start.
  8. City Foundation (Merged)

It is genuine, I got a call at the start of this season and last season. A few I know did as well and a few even signed up.
  9. Eros Pisano

I imagine he'll be ready for the Burton game. There was no need to rush him back with Wright doing very well standing in at RB and the results going well. This break surely will maximise recovery time and I predict he'll start against Burton.
  10. England players and City

Pack over Henderson Paterson over the Ox Bryan over Bertrand
  11. 3 home games in 11 days

Burton should certainly be a win although no games are easy in this league, they haven't scored in 3 games and have conceded 8 in their last two games both were at home. Fully expect a comfortable 2-0 or 3-0 win. May even suit us that although it will be a similar game to the Bolton game, I don't think Burton will be quite as negative. Leeds at home.. is a tough game despite Leeds being hopeless on Sky against Sheff Wednesday losing 3-0 should of been 4 as Wednesday had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside. Both teams will be right up for this one.. home crowd to play a big part.. I'm going 3-1 City. Palace at home in the League cup could go either way, do Palace play a strong side and try and build a bit of confidence with a cup win or do they play a second string side with what will be the biggest game of their season at home to West Ham a few days later.. I imagine it will probably be the latter.. don't forget Palace will very likely come to us having lost all of their league games to date. With players like Matty Taylor to come in for City and stake a claim once again.. I see a narrow 2-1 City win. Okay yes I've put a very optimistic view on our next 3 games. But I also feel very a realistic view as well.. I think this year AG has a real fortress feel about it as well. Cant see us losing to many at home.
  12. For those thinking of heading to Russia for 2018 World cup

The issue this time around is the threat from active Russian Hooligans is very real.. there are always risks attached with these tournaments. For example the risk of terrorism like you mentioned above in France last summer. Having witnessed first hand in France.. I'd say 200-300 Russian cause absolute mayhem it's clear to see why people are concerned. They caused carnage when they were the minority imagine next summer when they are the majority in their own country. Yes as you said if your responsible and respectful you should be fine, which is true.. but believe me the Russians do not care. Anyone who is clearly an English supporter is a target, whether that be a chap giving it large to them or a few blokes having a few quiet drinks. Yes you can distance yourself from it all to a certain extent, but these well trained Russian hooligans wanted to cause as much harm/injury to as many English fans as they could last summer. Will their Police be of any help next summer, probably not they most likely hate us as well. Fair play to anyone travelling over though.
  13. Both have been outstanding but it has to be Reid for me.. not just for his fantastic goal scoring record to date this season.. But he's just been brilliant in all aspects of his game. Bryan has even said on twitter fans should go for Bobby over him.
  14. Sunderland tickets (Merged)

Newcastle town centre will be lively if we win this one to go top of the league.
  15. Let's be honest here

In all fairness I agree with the OP, the league doesn't feel as strong as previous years. Yes we got results against Newcastle & Brighton last season but they were nailed on to be the top 2 all season. This season the top 2 as well as the play off spots are all up for grabs, there's no say Burnley or the two I've mentioned already that you think are nailed on. Imo I think Wolves & Villa would be the teams right up there come the end.. but it's true this is a massive chance to get promoted.. id fancy us on our day to beat any team in this league over two games and then of course a play off final. There are some very good teams in this league the likes of Boro will probably click sooner rather than later. We must keep our feet on the ground but we also must keep that confidence and self belief we do have a real chance this year if we are consistently this good.
