  1. Bristol City or England?

City of course. If England won the world cup, with the current squad, it would be pure luck and bad performances by every other team. Not because they are actually the best in the world. Now city in the other hand. You can see we are playing so well and can Improve upon that, so would be genuinely earned.
  2. So, met a city player the other day, first I have seen in a long time. Had a quick chat, very pleasant. Afterwards I felt a bit....nobbish! He's not from Bristol, so me saying I'm a city fan, do the players care? Or was it more an annoyance? A few who are Bristolian and support the club, probably do. But what do the rest actually think? They have no love for Bristol city per se, of course try want to win, as that's the point, but that's for personal gain surely? Not for the actual love of the club, but for the personal success. Like I said, very pleasant to meet said player, but what do they really think of us? ElT
  3. Bundesliga highlights.

As above, has always been on ITV late on Monday. Better not have bloody moved to sky or BT, it's the only highlights show I watch, better than that premier league shite.
  4. Premier League Spending

It's disgusting the amount of money being spent for 'success'. It's foreign owners wanting a new toy and ruining it for the rest of us. It's only really over here though, other countries keep prices fairly low overall. When youthink, 20 years ago, Alan shearer for £15 mil was a world record and turning heads, and he is one of the best strikers ever. Now you get overrated tossers like John stones and raheem sterling for £50 mil!! And it's spent like it's pocket money. I can't stand the premier league anymore and never really watch it, I never recognise any of the foreign names and the overall style and fun of it has turned into a puddle of piss. I could rant all day!!
  5. Naturally Gifted

If those named in the opening post are classed as 'natural talent' then I'd rather not as it must mean 'decent but lazy as heck'! I'd prefer hard workers who strive to improve.
  6. No more strikers incoming?

Every time someone talks about strikers and mentions Taylor, it always takes me a moment to remember who Taylor is....that guy needs to step up.
  7. Barca and the power of belief

Tom Daley could have played for them the other night and fit right in. Actioned packed - yes, but too much simulation for my liking. Makes me blood boil it does.
  8. Lucic

They are better in possession, but defending as a whole they are awful, most games have a team scoring 3-4-5 goals. I'd rather have iffy passes from the keeper then plain awful defending. Not to say we have great defenders, but we aren't leaking 4 goals every week.
