  1. He blows his own arguement near the end by saying Kamaras red card shouldn't have been overturned...the guy is clueless, and doesn't deserve the hot air

To be honest we are overachieving until we get past half way in the season, once every team has been played you can start saying we are there on merit. Given that people thought (both internally and externally) that we would be set for anywhere between 13th and 23rd (as usually people reserved bottom for Bolton or Burton) then yes we are overachievers right now. Really don't see what the issue is.
  3. Changes to the National League.

I would assume 2 and 3 get a first round bye (bit like in the NFL) then 4 vs 7, 5 vs 6 happens first, then winners will go on to the 2nd and 3rd place teams.
  4. League Cup - City v Stoke (Merged)

Looking at the draw, have a feeling we could end up on sky, along with the Liverpool game. With most of the prem teams getting home ties just looks possible. I hope so as I'm away that week anyway!
  5. Korey Smith

Uh, like we have been against the top third of the table teams since we've been back in this division? said it before and will again, I like Pack and Smith, effort is there, but if we have any ambition to move forward in this league we need to move on from both.
  6. Fielding

Fielding for me is an alright keeper, good days few and far between but fairly mistake free, but you always feel like a better keeper would have kept out 10-15 goals a season that they've conceded. It's similar to Carson at Derby really. For me we have other priorities to sign, but an upgrade at GK isn't a bad thing either.
  7. Goaline Technology

Re: the Fielding incident, ref had given advantage for a foul on him anyway, so didn't matter anyway!
  8. Eliasson Signs!

Getting his wet weather gear in order for the British climate!
  9. Home Kit

Best home kit for ages, not sure I'll buy it though, last few years I've bought the away shirt and that may continue!
  10. We are predicted to get relegated by 4 pundits on FLW

Completely understand why people think it. Thing for me is we conceded a lot of goals last year, with 23 of our own now gone we have to solve replace those goals (unlikely to replace all of them) so we need to fix the conceded element. As yet, I don't think we have, and that will be our biggest issue, not goals. I do fear for us a bit this year, unfortunately.
  11. Q & A - Lee Johnson

Re: Hegeler, I kinda get the idea of him at CB, but he seems much more fitted to protecting the back four, with a box to box player next to him I think that would really work. At CB I worry about his pace, but the ball playing and height attributes I understand, an odd one really all things considered!
  12. Eliasson Signs!

For bottom half? Yes I agree. Don't get me wrong Pack won me over last season and Smith can be a very good player. However one is far too inconsistent over a season and the other doesn't play enough due to injury, we need to move forward.
  13. Gary O'Neil

When he was on the pitch I thought we generally looked better for it. However looking at stats certainly in terms of results that wasn't the case! In theory should be a world beater for us, wasn't the case last year and needs to be fit. As others have said I'd lean towards moving him on if anybody's willing to take him.
  14. Tomlin to Cardiff - CONFIRMED

If he doesn't feature against Yeovil then we will know for sure. Will be so typical of us to completely get this wrong.
  15. Striker injuries - Bobby Reid

Funny, when you see his finishing, Villa last season being a prime example, I've often thought that he needs to be further up the field, yet we play him left back #LJLogic As for Reid, make or break, and I personally see him more in that role than at CM, too many mistakes at CM at this level for me. Of course, we have Lee Tomlin, who really should be taking the role, but again we are back to #LJLogic
