  1. Tammy permanent

    I'll take Costa for that
  2. We have to finish in the top ten

A more successful win % record? Just ideas Bob
  3. I'm in the mood for an argument

    What, hard?
  4. Cotts

    29% record is good?
  5. Cotts

We did match his wages and then some... he's already said this in an interview that we offered more but he chose Burnley. He probably wouldn't live in Burnley itself anyway
  6. Cotts

Well that remains to be seen, if we can now progress then yes. Be a bit difficult if we are treading water on a constant basis.. whether it's under LJ, his successor and so on. We are still a Championship/L1 yoyo club. Trying to acquire targets well beyond our range last season after just getting promoted was unnecessary even if it does show ambition of the club. Need to get a proper foothold in this league first
  7. Cotts

Well not really, if we had no realistic chance of landing these type of players at that point in time.
  8. Cotts

Don't forget Fredericks... major bust up here with Cotterill but now a part of promotion chasing Fulham...
  9. Cotts

A fair comment and I actually like MA, like you said he gets stuff done
  10. Cotts

Plus Cunningham was signed by Del boy not Cotterill
  11. Cotts

He opted for Burnley because he had a better chance of playing PL football.
  12. Cotts

£20M for three players... Johnson spent £11M in the summer Not sure but the BBC reported a 9M deal, could've been add ons etc.
  13. Cotts

Not really though, Gray scored plenty in the Championship with Brentford... They would've commanded a big big fee which would be the norm. Gayle was a totally unrealistic target, he was never coming here. Pretty sure Cotterill admitted that once the deal was dead
  14. Cotts

Yes he did, as above... Edit:- Just seen your post
  15. Cotts

Or maybe its a case of going after unrealistic players. They weren't interested in joining us regardless... some footballers want to play at the highest level, they had more of a chance with clubs they join or stayed at. Nothing wrong with that
