  1. Man City Away Minibus Spaces - Portishead

Hi Beaks...how many seats do you have spare?
  2. Kickoff Rules

Hi Davefevs. Sorry didnt see your earlier post. I had that scenario in my head as I was shouting hysterically for City to get set as quickly as possible. I would apologise to those sitting around me but I’m sure they've seen previous mad moments from me.
  3. Kickoff Rules

Appealing to the “referees” in the forum. So after Wolves scored their second goal all of their players including Ruddy rushed to the touchline. Could we have theoretically set the ball for kickoff and then taken it once Wolves entered their own half without setting up? Poetentially with Ruddy out of goal?
  4. City in Africa

The school these kids go to is part of a crowdfund that was set up by one of the ladies who went on the trip last year. They are looking to fund a clean water source for the school so the kids have one of the basics available to them like drinking water. They are still looking for donations but I wasn't sure about posting the justgiving link.
  5. City in Africa

Back in June 2016 my wife and some friends did a women only sponsored bike across 3 national parks in Tanzania in aid of Women versus Cancer. They had a collection night at the Gate and I posted a big thanks to the fans for their donations. Amy from Bristol City Community Trust organised a donation of BCFC kit for my wife to take. 9-10 months on, here's a picture of some of the kids from a local village they visited. The kids help out by digging for a clean water supply for the village.
  6. My Wallet Thanks You

Just a thought Philinfrance.......it wasn't you was it?
  7. My Wallet Thanks You

Yes I wholeheartedly agree with you. Often though the people accepting the item will ask for the finders name. But one again I'm grateful of their action.
  8. My Wallet Thanks You

Not sure who to thank. Didn't realise till this morning after the Norwich game that I had lost my wallet. I sit in the South Stand. Ashton Gate was the last place I used it so I called the club and spoke to Oliver who contacted the club shop and confirmed it had been handed in. I collected it today but they couldn't tell me who handed it in, fan, steward or cleaner. By any chance the person who handed it in reads this or if anyone knows them...thank you very much. It saved me calling bank and credit card companies.
  9. Keith Millen

Yes he seemed to be with a few friends and looked fairly relaxed
  10. Keith Millen

I'm pretty sure Keith Millen was down the Gate tonight. Spotted in the concourse at the South Stand......just paying a visit?
  11. Football as a numbers game

Can't remember seeing this BBC article from last week discussed on OTIB so decided I would link it and get people's thoughts. Will player purchase and selection as well as match day formations come down to how clubs are now more involved in analysing "Big Data" and will those clubs lose the human element of football? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-37327939
  12. Parking

I often use Long Ashton Road near The Angel Inn pub then its about a 10 min walk. Benefit is after the match you can go back through Long Ashton and pickup the A370 down to the W-S-M jnct M5 or go up over Failand and either head to Gordano or Clevedon to pickup M5.
  13. Where do the old shirts go?

Back in February my wife and friends had a charity collection at Ashton Gate for Women V Cancer and their bike ride across 3 national parks in Tanzania. Bristol City Community Trust donated some shirts to take when the girls went in June. My wife works in literacy and some children's book publishers donated piles of books for her to take to a local school they were visiting. Guess who got books and BCFC shirts !!
  14. Bristol City v UCAM Murcia CF Match Thread

EasyJet, 7 times a week. San Javier is a little way outside Murcia but good roads.
  15. Bristol City v UCAM Murcia CF Match Thread

Murcia has an airport called San Javier, flights from Bristol as well.
