  1. Everyone knows we're gonna lose this one, right? It's football, it's what happens. Especially when it's Bristol City*. Unexpected wins and draws against all those proper teams - the ones that kick it well - showing the world that we're dark horses, or contenders, or "up there with the best", and then lose to bottom of the league Bolton who haven't won in 29 away Championship games. It happens to England, it happened against Birmingham, and it'll happen tonight. All that said, I'm obviously still backing us to win, 'cos it's football. @ollywhyte, I was writing too much nonsense & missed the lock so am not expecting points, but claim the moral high ground if this comes in: City 3-1 Bolton FGS: O'Dowda (22') - #Finally #Hashtag. Scrappy, but he loves it. Others: Reid (38') - Lays it off to Paterson, spins off his marker on the edge of the box, receives the return ball and smashes it in the roof of the net. Or, you know, a tap in. Bryan (60') - He's due one, probably. It'll be a screamer, too. Wilbraham (86') - 'Cos it'll be nice, won't it? HT: 2-0 Fixtur3s Dortmund v Real Madrid (A) Exeter v Notts County (D) Cardiff v Leeds (D) *Insert any other team who one follows closely. Every football supporter feels this way about their team. It's football.
  2. @WTFiGO!?! called it, if slightly by accident Trouble is I'm now in breach of my tenancy agreement. We're not allowed pets, but those last 10 minutes gave me several kittens.
  3. Ironically, this ends 11-0 to Wycombe, meaning Rovers' draw would have actually been enough to take them up. Maths is important, kids.
  4. Stevenage beat Accrington. FT at 16.50. Wycombe beat Oxford. FT at 16.51. Rovers beating Dagenham & Redbridge at 16.53. Dagenham & Redbridge equalise at 16.55. FT at 16.56. Mass riot ensues. Meanwhile, Cambridge beat Mansfield. Authorities investigate aforementioned mass riot, and determine that several players, the manager, and the entire Al-Qadi family were heavily involved. Rovers deducted 15 points, thus finishing 2 points outside the playoffs. Something about Thatcher, a dog, and that sheed Lansdown.
  5. Praising us for seven points in three games - without which we'd be a mere two points clear of MK Dons - doesn't quite square with us "not deserving" to stay up. We deserve it purely because of those games. And all the others in which we got one or more of our 48 points.
  6. The past, present, and future went into a pub. It was tense.
  7. Today: Bristol City 6-0 Bolton Yesterday: SA 229-4, ENG 230-8 Ongoing: Leicester 8 points clear at the top of the entire English football pyramid Sport is on the blink. Can we switch it off and on again?

This is from the BBC's stats as well, so they can't even claim a discrepancy somewhere. I did wonder if they were only counting league goals (in which case they should've put us as having 9 players, due to Robinson only scoring against Luton), but then QPR have Washington and JET who haven't scored in the league either, so they'd still be below us. Now stop distracting me from the #GOTIB15to16CPL table. I can do that well enough by myself.
  9. Best free kick I've seen a City player take for a long time. This is rather enjoyable.
  10. Pah. Need to add Wade Elliott up there now. 3.00 points per game average - can't beat that.
  11. Here's hoping that such a turn of events won't merely mean that we trade the 94th minute goal for one in every other minute of the match...
  12. At which point we'll be expecting a stoppage time equaliser, I presume.
