  1. IMPORTANT - South Stand Display vs Cardiff

Completely agree with the 2 bullet points however perhaps wonder whether as it was a club decision he would not be able to do either personally. Just trying to point out another perspective as everyone had already seemingly jumped down his throat! Seems astonishingly misguided that someone in his position would tweet it as a piss-take.
  2. IMPORTANT - South Stand Display vs Cardiff

Maybe just maybe, if it wasn’t him who made the decision it could be his way of showing support for the display? Posting a picture of yourself with a St George’s Cross painted on your face could certainly be construed as you showing that you are patriotic could it not?
  3. City vs Manchester - Dustbin Thread (merged)

1979/1980 season by the looks of it!
  4. Let’s put that one down as bad day at the office

Have seen a lot of people saying that Johnson got it wrong and should have played BW at centre back and not Hegeler. Personally I think if Pisano had been fit then he would have done this but I don’t think he wanted one of the best players in the league in Samuel Saiz against a relatively inexperienced RB in Zak Vyner. For those who wanted Wright in the middle would you have had confidence to play Vyner at RB or is it more about suring up the middle of the park?
  5. Uefa nations league

I know it would never happen but hopefully if we play our Nations League games at Wembley against the bigger teams it might allow the European Qualifiers to be taken around the country again!
  6. U23's v Taunton Town

Could someone who is at the game help us? Here is a link to an image of Charlie Coppola? http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/14403012.Lewes_midfielder_Coppola_handed_trial_by_Premier_League_leaders/
  7. U23's v Taunton Town

Very interested how Plavotic gets on this year, feel like he's been a little bit forgotten and should be put in with the likes of Vyner and Moore in terms of potential!
  8. U23's v Taunton Town

Interesting side out tonight v Taunton. From Taunton's tweet looks like we have a young trialist named Coppola playing for us, could be Charlie Coppola who was wanted by Leicester last summer?
  9. Highlights, lowlights, you decide...

Interesting that the Matty Taylor open goal isn't on there
  10. Boo boo

Just out of interest how many games have we lost this year by more than a goal? Was I the only one there at the start of the 2013/14 League 1 campaign? Why is everyone so up in arms after a good 3 points in a game with huge pressure on the players, a highly agitated crowd against a team that came to be hard to break down?
  11. Little Lee's first test .?

So so much negativity on here! I would have bitten your arm off if you'd offered me 9th and 2 points of the play-offs at the start of the season. Throughout the season, unless you are one of the contenders for automatic promotion you are going to go through a bad spell of results/performances at one point or another so to be where we are in the table considering this I am delighted with! Think the international break comes at a perfect time for us and will allow the likes of freeman/ekstrand/smith/engvall the opportunity to get up to full match sharpness! And WRT the comment about not creating any chances, yes for all our possession we should have created more but the Tomlin chance in the first half and Abraham in the second half were both golden opportunities which we probably should have scored from. Add into this the Wilbraham penalty and if we were a little more clinical it could have been very different.
  12. 2016/17 kit

Unfortunately I don't have a record of individual supporters consultations with the club but to think that a multi-million pound organisation such as Bristol Sport with all the business acumen involved would not think to conduct market research of some description is either slightly ridiculous or if true I would wonder how on earth SteveL and co have got to where they are in the first place!
  13. 2016/17 kit

    Here's a couple
  14. 2016/17 kit

I've seen quite a few hiding in amongst all the outrage, and actually a lot of people don't interact with official pages for the fear of being shouted down. Again I'm against the Hashtags but it is naive to think that Bristol Sport didn't put any thought into it.
  15. 2016/17 kit

Yeah I take your point and personally would have preferred the shirts to be Hashtag free. However, to claim less than 1% is a bit misrepresentative as actually a lot of the young people I interact with on social media and in person seem to really like this unique aspect of the design.
