Had a feeling Frankie might be recalled today. Rod hasn't been as solid as his usual self. Hope Frankie keeps a clean sheet!

Tammy has great potential from what we've seen so far. However another Chelsea striker, Patrick Bamford took the Championship by storm as well and his career has stuttered and stalled since. I'm sure Chelsea have high hopes for Tammy, but I can't see him featuring for their first team until he his the finished article. Chelsea don't really do player development. So Tammy needs to be careful about his next move. At his age, he won't go far wrong by staying in the Championship for a few seasons. All that is certain is we have him for the season, and we got to enjoy him whilst we can. It tearing me up inside that I can't get too attached to him!!

Wilbs played CB against Hengrove Athletic. He'll be slotting in at the back and we'll be going 3-5-2 again. I've really got no idea!

Absolutely unbelievable scenes in Cheltenham where Glos have managed to defend their lead of 213 against Essex, bowling them out for 151 to record another sensational win against the top of the table side. We've moved up to third in the Division 2 table, with a game in hand over Essex and Worcs who are first and second. 11 pts behind Essex, and only 4 behind Worcs. We are well and truly in this promotion battle.Its such a bugger that the ECB have screwed Division 2 over this year only having one team promoting, but i'm quietly confident we can get there. We're on a bit of a roll in all formats so just got to keep carrying this momentum.

Wish the County Ground was rocking like that every T20 game. That last over win makes up for the disappointment of losing the one dayer in Taunton the other week, another game we really should have won. Rodders and Tye did a great job at the end seeing us home. Tye is a good all round player, his death bowling is quality and he can hit a ball. Running out of superlatives for Michael Klinger. 3 games this week, he's been Man of the Match in every one! Such a pleasure to watch, classy on the eye and has the brain to pace every inns he plays. Nothing phases the man at all! Australia selectors all need to take a long hard look at themselves. The man's record in Australia and in England for the last 3 seasons has been nothing short of immense. How he has not even picked up one Aussie cap is a crime!

Any of you see Glos absolutely destroy Essex on the tele last night?? We have definitely picked up a head of steam this week after a solid win against Hampshire in the Royal London. Looking forward to seeing a packed crowd. I'm optimistic we'll get a game in. Rain forecast says 50/50 chance of rain, and umpires are more lenient to let a T20 game continue if it drizzly stuff. Only a full on deluge will stop the game, and those tend to pass quite quickly. Duckworth Lewis could be in play, so deffo think its win the toss and bowl first tonight.

Absolute awful selection today. Why is Jack Taylor not playing??? His batting alone wins matches, should be playing instead of Cockbain. As for Noema-Barnett, quite possibly one of the worst players to ever don the Glos shirt. Rank average batsman and bowler. Not contributed any real inns or bowling spell of note since he joined. We've signed the talented all rounder Van-Buuren who has a miles better batting and bowling average yet somehow hasn't been selected! Think I can do a better job selecting the side.

Its a 9 team group where 4 qualify for the Quarter finals. Yeah there were points on the line, but I'd back Glos to qualify out the group. The point I was trying to make was that it's not a knockout just as yet, there's still plenty of opportunities to pick up the points required to qualify. Hahahaha, that's a cheeky comment! I don't think we're as delusional as the Rovers mob. For one of the smaller county sides on a tight budget, I feel we've always punched above our weight. We've finally developed a group of promising young players, which Somerset haven't managed to poach any of yet! This group have had a taste of success already last season and hopefully that leads to bigger and better things. We're competing strongly in all 3 formats now and looking forward to the rest of the summer and seeing where it takes us. Its good to see Somerset bring through some youngsters of their own. Very impressed with the Overton brothers, Lewis Gregory and know that big things are expected from Tom Abell who is still coming through. I do think West Country cricket is looking quite strong.

Still cannot get my head around how we ended up losing this one! Jamie Overton and Gronewald looked as composed as any 2 batsman I'd seen all day. Never even gave us a sniff of a chance other than that run out. Fair play and a lot of respect to those lads for standing up and seeing their team home. Was sat in the Somerset Stand, and there was some sort of mini-exodus as soon as the 9th wicket fell down! Like the Dolman early leavers! I bet they wish they had stayed now once they got home and saw the result. Unbelievable finish to a great contest, both sides putting on a great show for the Sky camera's. Gutted we lost, but this is a group match with little riding on it but some local pride. We have a proven track record on the big stage when trophy's are on the line, unlike the perennial chokers that are Somerset!

You can pack your own food if you don't want to pay those prices. It is on the high side, but then cricket doesn't really have the money flowing into it that football has, so cricket clubs tend to have a mentality to 'cash in whilst you can.' Your non league comments are a bit harsh, They have spent £7m on the new Pavillion,Stands and parking. Also £12m on the new floodlights. It has been significantly improved on what was previously there. Its a real step up in class from The Mem and that's now a L1 venue! It was cold, windy and wet towards the end which probably didn't help with your experience, but there's not much better than a Friday night under the lights on a warm clear night cheering the Glos on for the win.

Khan completely knew what he was walking into when he took the Canelo fight. It was odds on he'd get KO'ed, by the bigger, superior boxer. I guess he is happy taking a massive blow for $9m though. Read somewhere he's the Mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC belt so onto the next big payday. Can't see him taking the Brook fight until he's exhausted all the Las Vegas options. The money is just too good out there. Crolla's was the fight to watch though, that will live long in the memory. Textbook performance, great fight.
