  1. not the finished artilcle but I think his best years are ahead of him. great attitude and loves the club. stick.
  2. i recoreded this off some Sky memories/gold programme recently. I watch it to cheer myself up.
  3. What about that Wolves fan who was recently put in hospital? There has not been a court case yet, but I hope that was not football violence, as I really hoped hooliganism was dead. You can be passionate without hitting someone else for supporting another team.
  4. It makes a change from his hell-raising days. Asked about the seemingly apocryphal story that he had once knocked out a horse in Panama City, Durán makes a clear distinction. “I knocked him down,” Durán says with the credibility of a connoisseur in violent punching. In November 1969, after his 15th pro bout and aged 18, he was offered a bet – $100 and a bottle of whisky if he could flatten a horse with a single punch. Durán says he was reluctant to hurt the animal but, spurred on by a girlfriend and already drunk, he took the bet. The horse went down from a stunning left hook. It got up but Durán’s damaged hand had to be stitched up without anaesthetic. He didn’t care: “The girl was kissing me and I was drinking the whisky I won. I didn’t feel a thing.” Great story about Roberto Duran - is he a gas head?
  5. he ha never said **** anyone. All he has said is "I am in charge and putting in the money at the moment, and therefore someone has to make decisions and that ultimately falls to me". If anyone else would like to have a go please step forward. Honestly the prickliness of some of the people on here.
  6. One team goes into qualifying for CL and 3 go into qualifying for Europe League.
  7. he certainly looks like a natural goalscorer and maybe worth the big money we spent on him. I wonder how he would feel about coming back here, if Djurgarden qualify for Europe. I assume its one in the CL and one in Europa in Sweden?
  8. I'll believe it when I see it. Until they lifetime ban all the thugs at Millwall it will be difficult to see them as a family club
  9. Get well soon Gary
  10. Good shout KitR. Premier League and Euro 96 and football became the new god of entertainment.
  11. You should be proud Pill Red of sticking with them in the dark days.
  12. all those autowindsreens/ freight rovers cups, we really are very lucky
  13. For once an OTIB rumour is scotched with facts, from someone who was actually involved - lawks a lordy, whatever next!
  14. to think we only got about 7k in 1995/96. The red few! interesting how their has been such an incremental rise against performance this season but a lot of people were pretty upset. If we could actually challenge for promotion next season could we average 22k or more? is there that much demand for success?
  15. I hope the club website is better than Player!
