  1. After 2 years I’ve just cancelled. Stopping, freezing, juddering pic and sound. Strong Wi-Fi, Netflix streams fine. Can’t be arsed to keep fighting with this. Ta ra.
  2. Ok, I’ve sat back and let this develop for a few pages before jumping in. firstly let’s congratulate the lad for coming out, it must have been a huge step, and the general positivity on radio and social media is heartening that we seem to be moving forward. Hopefully others will follow his lead, by mere probability there must be many more both currently and historically I read with amusement the debate on ‘gays in the changing room’ and whether someone may be uncomfortable. As a gay man who has used communal changing rooms for many years I can categorically reassure anyone feeling a little awkward that us gays don’t find everyone sexually attractive, and we don’t stand, stare and drool uncontrollably at the ones we do find attractive, and the perceived awkwardness from the straight guy says a little more about them than me. If you feel awkward do as many do in my gym do, go home sweaty, change in the cubicle or do the hilarious towel dance, where everyone just presumes you either find yourself irresistible to the gays, or merely have a small pecker and are too embarrassed to show it! for those who defended the comment about the the MAP guy coming out. It was clumsy but I don’t think he was presuming gay men are paedo’s. I am sure he has done his research where it shows this vile perversion affects gay, straight and bi people lastly let’s not too woke, the jokes about ‘leaving the back door open’ are just funny.
  3. And another 100,000 who want a job there but have been locked out.
  4. To be honest, if the owner can’t be arsed to come out and at least try to rouse the team and the fans, you can understand the apathy among the fans. Spending comparably more in disposable income terms, shelling out for over priced tickets, with over priced food and drinks, getting ripped off for parking, and sat in idling traffic using up hugely expensive petrol you can see why people are getting peeved. I bailed pre covid, the season after the ground development. The extra crowds were and are good for the club, but I got tired of the parking prices, the journey up and down to Gloucester, the stating out early, and getting home late, whilst feeling ripped off by club and local parking operators, the overpriced food and drink. i wish the club well, hope the attendances keep high and there is success on the pitch for those that make the effort. I am happy behind by VPN now, still a fan but from a distance, where the decline of the team the last 2 seasons doesn’t hurt (quite) as much. Of course it still does, I’d love us to do well, but I am sympathise with the fans getting angry, and those like me, who just started to walk away. sad times.
  5. Years ago, a loss would feel a blow, and it would ruin the whole weekend. Not sure it’s advancing age, or just where we are as a club, but yes you’re right, it hurts less. Nowadays I just shrug and move on. It doesn’t ruin the weekend at all now. I still care, obviously, and want us to do well, but losing from 2 1 up against 10 men who played us off the park? Not surprised, now, what’s on the telly…

    Downsy

I can make no comment on the emojis and whether I would choose not to have used them in an employee capacity, but I can say I have studied the video in minute detail and in slow motion and zoomed in, multiple times. I can find no fault with it…

Why is he (Downey) weird? I don’t get what you’re getting at? great video though ?
  8. Jeez, thank you Dad for taking me to see City when I was a nipper. Imagine how life could’ve turned out
  9. Genuine question, is this real or am I being whooshed? I can’t believe anyone could say this shit, with a straight face anyway. Unbelievable, Jeff
  10. How about a day at the races, then?
  11. Like German, industrial rock? try Eischbrecher. if you find rammstein too heavy and wished they were a little more melodic give these a go
  12. My apologies it’s testing of a vaccine by September. To be rolled out next year. If it works https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/30/health/coronavirus-vaccine-johnson-and-johnson-clinical-trial/index.html I don’t think they will risk mass events, festivals, concerts, Theatre, football matches until the government is happy they can cope with the numbers of infections that a relaxation will bring. How the government is (re)acting right now I feel we won’t see an agreement to fulfill a recreational activity at odds with current action plan, testing or no testing. Not ITK or anything, just my thoughts
  13. When testing is ready? Apparently not til sept at the earliest and then prioritised for front line staff, medical support staff, etc etc. Don’t think league two football player and their reserves will be high on that list
