  1. That’s the bugger! Combination of fat fingers, bloody iPhone and being on a conference call Could watch this over and over again. Life’s all about inches......
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO4tIrjBDkk&sns=em Second try
  3. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO4tIrjBDkk&sns=em This is the one they need to listen to. 2-1 reversal.
  4. Will Man City fly down tuesday morning?or are they already here?

Was it really? How the time has flown by. I remember him walking out, as most people were still in the bars of the Colsonall and how as people came in and took a double take he confirmed it was indeed him! Still say PW is over-rated - and I’ve seen him many times... Now Colonel Kilgore’s - a real aural pleasure
  5. Will Man City fly down tuesday morning?or are they already here?

Many years ago I saw Paul Weller in the Colston Hall. Drive down the M32 that night behind a blacked out windowed Mercedes with MCFC sticker on it. 5 minutes before support act were due to start out stepped no other than Noel Gallagher. So if anyone drives to BS3 tomorrow down the M32 behind a fleet of blacked out windowed Mercedes with Noel Gallagher stickers on ‘em chances are it’ll be Pep and the boys And for what it’s worth Noel was far better than Weller.....
  6. Tuesday Night Tickets

That’s a ******* disgrace. Face value or free. That’s what I do with any I have that I don’t need. Fancy making money out of fellow fans....
  7. What's your most prized City memorabilia ?

Nice! I was under age in 76 but stumbled across this on eBay the other day. Kept quiet about it so as not to push the price up...... £18 and twas mine. To go with the turnstile, seats and Wurzels single. Mrs B will love it!
  8. What's your most prized City memorabilia ?

And another bit of “random eclectic junk” is on its way to BA11....... I know she’ll love it Wonder what it’ll taste like?
  9. What's your most prized City memorabilia ?

Not my most prized - that’s still the turnstile and seats from the Williams - but I also have this.Had it originally back in the day but I lost it. Bought another copy recently. Cost a small fortune....
  10. Who gets to be a SAG?

Interesting. So not a mythical creature after all then. Anyone know why information is limited. Or who the actual SAG is? Or why their view might differ from someone else’s? I guess the SAG at the Etihad must’ve taken a different view. And has any representation from a BCFC supporters group ever been invited or attended? Or like they who attend that building at the bottom of Park Street wearing their aprons is it a bit of a secret society? Who are these people?
  11. Thanks for that clarity @Harry. Thing is though anyone can be in daily contact and deliver good news. Wonder if he knew this one was coming up, chose not to mention it and hoped it would go away? Thing for me is understanding the rationale behind what seems like another unnecessary **** up. Fans who ultimately pay the wages....
  12. Who gets to be a SAG?

The ongoing hoo ha about standing or sitting and occupying the seat that’s printed on your ticket got me thinking.... Anyone know who the SAG/s are? What qualifications do you need to have to be one? Do they get paid? By whom? Or is what they look like?
  13. Spot on. What I don’t get - again - is who to believe. @Matt Parsons BCFCSLO Told us about daily contact with members of S82 yet @Harry suggests something different. Similar to red and white cards being held up at Cardiff? How can it be so difficult to clearly explain what’s what and take accountability for it? What this boils down to is this. Squeezing more in - not so more can watch the game - but to generate more revenue. Pure and simple. Bristol Sport don’t give a flying ****. As long as there’s demand for tickets or whatever else they’re going to peddle they’ll be happy and treats fans with contempt. Makes my blood boil.
  14. 3 pages of bickering again..... Anyway what I really don’t get is why 8000 of us were allowed to stand in a stand that was almost vertical and that for the return fixture they can’t. Or have to sit or stand in their allocated seat. That wasn’t the complete case at the Etihad. Might not matter to us because we’ll be sitting at the front but it’s odd how different clubs/SAGS/police forces interrupt things.
  15. This makes for utterly grim reading (Barry Bennell and Gary Speed)

The League of Pity. I’d forgotten that. The irony. If I remember rightly there used to be an annual awards ceremony for the child who’d collected the most. As you say @PHILINFRANCE a film was always shown. From memory in the Hall by the Sandringham. Never met his mother but you may well be right. If she didn’t have her suspicions though she must have been amongst the few adults in the area who didn’t. How even then it was allowed to happen still haunts me. As I said we were lucky but given his conviction in July 1999 there were some who weren’t. Monty was the bastard’s nickname. His “palace” was indeed where he worked. His name, as can easily be found on the internet is David Lawrence. 60 in 1999 so I’d guess he may well still be alive. Having children of your own changes your perspective enormously. If I had my time again I’d have done everything I could to have exposed him then.
