  1. Cardiff fan in peace... Sort of.

Technically Microwave is actually meicrodon. No one in Wales calls it a Popty Ping, the same way no one actually from Bristol would call it Brizzle.

He does know Championship football after all.
  3. lj comments

Nah it’s fine, I’m glad @Londoner explained Championship football to me... I was struggling.
  4. lj comments

    Nice one... cheers lad.

But 3-0 after 30 minutes? Seriously the majority would be disappointed if we didn’t score again against Sunderland. They were there for an absolute onslaught.
  6. Ryan Kent

After that horrific Norwich debut he’s turned it around and I hold my hands up and retract my negative comments about him. Keep performing like you are Ryan! Definite brightest spark today in a horrific midfield performance.
  7. Diony

Bobby took a knock late in the first half and presumably went off through the injury.

Why should he apologise though? That game should have been a goal difference booster. Sunderland were easily one of the worst teams I’ve seen down the gate for a long time and they were there for the taking. If we’d have tightened up after getting 3 goals so early then there would have been an outcry. Yes changes should have been made earlier after possibly the first and definitely the second but that was a game we should have won by 5 or 6 no question. Johnson did the right thing in trying to rectify the recent amount of goals against us since Christmas.
  9. Bristol Rovers Dustbin Thread

I’m more horrified by someone calling it ‘Mac Donalds’
  10. Harry Kane - Dive or fouled!

100% dive. If the lad wasn’t England’s golden boy then he’d be hounded out by all the pundits.
  11. Cardiff... Bubble or not to bubble.....

Tbh I want the club to say no thanks and send them all back out of principle.
  12. Match of the day until 2022

Agreed. There was that horrific Premiership programme hosted by Des Lynham though in the early 00’s if I recall correctly.
  13. 6 Most Depressing Clubs to Support

Whoever the bottom 6 in the Prem are... it must be such a boring, pointless existence.
  14. BCTV

Unfortunately unless you’re willing to pay for a vision mixer (expensive people and expensive kit) then it’s not really feasible. I spend a great deal of time working on Pro 14 rugby and you’ll be surprised how basic set ups can be away from the glitz and glamour of Sky or BT. It’s true they may be doing something else though such as changing recording devices, cards etc whilst the game is on.
  15. BCTV

But is the camera work really that amateurish? I’ve not seen one example on the highlights this season of a goal or chance being missed by shoddy camera work. If it works the same as the usual sports coverage I deal with at work, you’ll have one isolated camera person capturing everything for the TV highlights and all you’re watching is a feed from their camera as they record. Nothing is being recorded exclusively for BCTV viewers so that’s why you’ll get whip pans and a lot of movement as they pick up shots that they’ve been asked to get?
