We did exactly the same thing except we drove up and kipped in the car at South Mimms services! I think the Arsenal game was the FA Cup 4th or 5th round though - Forest won 2-0 with Paul Wilkinson getting both IIRC.
Just how I remember it, a double fence separating the home and away fans in the Park End. I only went in there a few times - one I recall was the night we relegated Spurs which turned out to be not such a good idea in hindsight!
I know. Back then there were questions asked in the House if something like this happened but now it seems like there`s one every day and it barely gets reported outside of the local area.
A sad world we live in.
I`ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Chesterfield. It was always a good day out back at the old Saltergate with decent fans and decent pubs. We generally got something there too and of course it was the scene of Testimitanu`s thunderbastard!
Good to see them back.
Richard Taylor death: Campaigner and father of Damilola Taylor dies - BBC News
He did so much good work since his son was murdered but still must have been saddened that children are still stabbing and killing other children twenty four years later.
I`m thinking more along the lines of a version of one of those things the trains used to have to grab the mail without stopping. SL could just fly over @BigTone`s country estate and scoop him up in a net.
Would have to be a bloody big net mind!
I`m in that queue somewhere too. Best of it was, when we got to the scene of what we imagined must be a multi vehicle accident it turned out there were two cars on the hard shoulder who had obviously just had a shunt.
it`s the same if you go on to any estate during the school holidays when the older kids are home alone. Windows wide open and something that sounds like someone hitting a tin with a hammer banging out at full volume.
A long shot I know but should Coventry reach both one or the other would have to be moved as the Cup Final is on the Saturday and the PO final on the Sunday the same weekend.
