  1. Our next 5 matches

If I could predict who we can beat or not ideal would be a millionaire next year. Who of thought we would draw at home to Burton but get results against teams like ipswich and Cardiff? Teams that have been bogey sides for years. We just to keep ticking along. In a way I was glad we lost against leeds, another bogey team and start a new run going.
  2. Paul Cheesley

He was before my time, I've seen the old footage but was he as good as I've been told. Would he of played for England and who does he compare to of today's players. I've met him a few times and I must say what a lovely down to earth bloke he is. From what I've heard we were robbed of a excellent player, who was about to be in his prime.
  3. Goal of the round

When will the winner be announced? Just after Christmas or in the new year?
  4. Shutt or Milne??

Super bob would definitely get in this team. £175k plus Shutt was great business by Big Joe. If Walshy would of been quicker he would of played Div1/Prem. Newman could play anywhere but again lacked pace. I never rated Galliers or Mcclaren, Bailey had abit of class, even though he was coming to the end of his career and of course Gavin really kicked on in the promotion season. Smith, Shelts and Turner seemed the final pieces in jigsaw along with the underrated Rennie. Happy days, I can't believe it was nearly 30 years ago.
  5. High quality midfielder required in Jan

Could he make the step up? From the clips I've seen of him he looks class. He could be a good impact player with 20-30 mins to go. Worth a gamble? Surely wouldn't break the bank and more realistic than some of the above mentioned.
  6. High quality midfielder required in Jan

He's more of a defensive winger in my book. How about the lad from Walsall who we were supposed to be interested in, I can't remember his name, little fella nicknamed the "Turkish Messi" ?
  7. Bristol City or England?

    City 24/7 for me.
  8. Morrell

I haven't seen him play what sort of player is he? Attacking or defensive???
  9. Do the players care about fans?

I think most players are ok with a quick chat in the right circumstances.I've spoken to quite a few in the past and they have always been friendly. The only one I would say I would walk past without saying anything would be Stevie neville, I spoke to him after he retired and found him really arrogant and up his own arse. Shame really because I loved him as a player when I was a kid. The nicest players I have met are Walshy, Cheesley, Whitehead and I was up until the early hours with Bobby Hutch, Riley and Moyesy 10 years after the freight rover win when they were in the same hotel in a different suite whilst I was supposed to be attending a wedding. What a night that was those boys could sup a few.
  10. Games on Christmas eve (Merged)

What a cracking idea. One or two sherberts, watch the City and come home to a massive roast dinner a few more drinks and wake up boxing day when all the fuss is over with.
  11. Great achievement, very well done to both of them.
  12. How Long.....

3 games to go and 10 points clear will do for me ☺
  13. City v Palace ... the build up Inc Ticket info (Merged)

You can't take any game for granted but I hope we keep our feet on the ground. Same goes for Bolton in the week, if you think all you've got to do is turn up your gonna get done over.
  14. Diedhiouh

Perhaps Angers management classes are needed?
  15. At what level have you played football?

I was sticking my leg out to stop a cross and my standing leg went into a rabbit hole. I went forward but my leg didn't, causing a spiral fracture. I spent a week in the Dorchester, not the hotel but the hospital. I've now got a rod in my leg after breaking Tib, fib and ankle. Happy days.
