  1. Maggers..........(Merged)

I agree. He looked so gutted when he was sitting watching the 2nd half. I think he's a talented footballer who's improved a lot this season and will continue to do so. He's our weak link, but he definitely earned his place in last night's team. We are the 2nd team in the UK since October to score 2. West Brom (3-2) and Stoke (7-2) both scored did in Oct.
  2. Luke Steele

How many other championship teams have 2 goalkeepers of the standard of Frankie and Steele?
  3. Manchester Pubs (Merged)

Northern quarter is probably best. Plenty of pubs. If anyone likes ale, pop into the Manchester tap just next to Manc piccadilly. 14 taps and 5 casks I think.
  4. Watford Away Pubs

Hi all, When I went to Watford earlier in the season I didn't get a chance to go to the pub as it was a weekday game. Any one know what good away pubs there are?
  5. Man City Away.. Anyone received tickets yet?

I bought two tickets at separate times and I have seat numbers for the first, not the second. So I think it might take a couple of days.
  6. Trains from Paddington saterday

It's much quicker to go to Euston via Watford Junction (takes 15 mins rather than about 40mins to get to Baker Street). You can then get the from Euston Square to Paddington.
  7. Spare adult ticket for today

I will take it if it's still free. Will message you.
  8. London pub showing game?

Yes it is on. I called to check.
  9. Reading centre pubs

They organise a bus to the ground before and after the game
  10. Reading centre pubs

It is away fan friendly.. And they have a bus to the ground.
  11. Public Transport to Brentford

Don't go via Clapham Junction. It's the same line and the line has a problem. Either go to South Ealing via Piccadilly Line (there are minor delays but should be ok), or Gunnersbury by District Line.
  12. Public Transport to Brentford

There are still delays on the piccadilly line (due to signal failure this morning). Also it's only a 15/20 minute walk from South Ealing which can be faster than the 4 stops on the bus.
  13. Public Transport to Brentford

There are currently no trains at all running from Clapham Junction/Vauxhall/Waterloo to Brentford. So generally better to get the district line to Gunnersbury, or Piccadilly line to South Ealing. Hopefully it will improve as the day goes on, but I wouldn't be hopeful.
  14. Public Transport to Brentford

Just to let you all know, there's been a train derailment at Waterloo this morning and there will be a limited service for the rest of the day (this is to add to the less frequent trains from Waterloo in August anyway). Hopefully it will start to resolve itself, but SW Trains still think there will be problems later. Might be better to go to Gunnersbury on the tube and then get the 237/267. Any questions, let me know! (I actually work in Brentford so know the area very well).
  15. Brentford Travel / Pub Guide / Info (Merged)

Unfortunately one of them is shut. But 3 is good.
