  1. I'm part of the silent majority. Worked for 40 years. Seen many fine leaders and a fare few loser's Manning ain't got it.
  2. To be fair, you would have waded on that pitch.
  3. Since when are we celebrating the local parks league champions. Who's top of the Downs league at the moment ?
  4. I'd recommend Cerulean Salt for earlier stuff.
  5. It's a very small number of seats impacted. Could have left them out of the master plan.
  6. Principal difference is there is now 2 balconies, so 3 levels in all. The top level is roughly at the same as old. The mid balcony fits in as the lower level doesn't go back so far. I suspect this level would be prime viewing. Each balcony has extended sides up to the stage. Only tried the top layer, could only see half the stage.
  7. Try the newly refurbished Beacon. The higher side balcony seats have severely restricted views, although to be fair the other seats will be excellent.
  8. Not a nonsense statement. I wrote it in the context of attracting crowds. Women's football is primarily family focused. Twerton is poor spectator wise with limited parking. Weston was used for U21s watched by a handful of supporters. Retention of Ashton Gate would give us a chance of retaining some of the WSL support. Bath and Weston would not in my view.
  9. Attendances vary according to Lionesses appeal. Last match 6k compared favourably with Leicester & Villa 4k earlier in season.
  10. Attendances are not tailing off. Have been pretty impressive for the WSL given our poor form. Women's football is growing. Will probably get relegated, but we have a choice. Stay in the g.ame (play at Ashton Gate) or retreat into mediocrity by playing at the HPC or a local non league ground. Bath would be a pretty poor option and we haven't got any decent non league grounds in the area.
  11. Bournemouth initially in Welsh, took me to half time to convert to English. Only the Bournemouth goals made the first half palatable.
  12. My first impression was new signing to get us off the bottom, but sadly no.
