There are so many on here who are still so in love and obsessed with Pearson that they will never accept any other manager, and they will search to find any reason to criticise that new manager rather than give him a chance. Pathetic really.

I don't think you are a true City fan. Many of us have supported the team through all the divisions with various qualities of manager and players. Yes it's been horrible at times but personally, I still loved watching the team home and away and with same degree of passion and enthusiasm wherever we are. That's what real supporters do.

Many on here were saying that about Mehmeti not so long ago. Coaches are employed to improve young players but it usually takes time.

Yes it was poor, but even amongst the numerous negatives there are aways some positives, and they are: - We were not outplayed and looked fairly solid in midfield and defensively - We restricted them to a couple of chances (yes they scored from one) - They scored against the run of play - If we can improve things in the final third, we will be much better - we have some decent players waiting to come back who should really improve things.

It's so frustrating. A few weeks ago we were playing with pace, high press and passion, to the extent that we beat a Prem team, held another for 120 minutes and stuffed the 'unbeatable' Southampton. So the squad has it in them but why has it disappeared?

West Ham, Forest, Middlesbrough, Southampton was progression and they all trump a small setback today.

I think we missed Pring today and Mehmeti seems to play better with him.

I think we need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. We are undoubtedly progressing, albeit slowly and you are bound to get good performances with the odd poor performances thrown in.... especially at the end of a mad run of games which we have had. We need to get the number and regularity of those poor performances reduced and that will happen. I take the positive view that we have shown in the last 4 or 5 games that we can pay brilliantly and beat anyone on our day - and those type of performances will be repeated going forward....it's the same.players and same coach.
