About The goal is that way

  1. I'll take 4th bottom now

The constant acceptance of mediocre dross is why we'll never succeed. Unfortunately the person most guilty of this at the moment is the owner
  2. Tomlin

Was the GBH against Lee Johnson's tactics etc or something serious???????????
  3. Flint sitiation...how does it get resolved (even more merging)

Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone or belittle any players performance in a city shirt over the years but I've never witnessed a division 1(or equivalent) title winning season and for me Flint in his own way goes down as a legend as does Shaun Taylor, Jackie,Goater,Bob Taylor,Tinion,Kodjia,Cole,Abraham and I loved (and hoped we'd of had more of Tomlin and Greg Goodridge at their best). (Yes i know I've forgotten some).I feel that Aden always gave his all whilst not the most technically gifted ,but he saved games and won many with his goals. For me a city legend!!!If I'd seen Alec I'm sure he would have been on my list but I've only seen city since the late 80's. (I did think the younger more politically correct were more easily offended) Sorry Ivor. I'm just going to add Steve Cotterell to my personal city legends for the most entertaining and successful year in my city years.
  4. Flint sitiation...how does it get resolved (even more merging)

He'll be gone by Monday. Thanks Aden city legend!!!
  5. Hull the new Blackpool?

Wouldn't it be nice just to experience the premier league maybe just once in your lifetime!!
  6. Hull the new Blackpool?

You chose which one then bye x They lived the dream. We rejoiced at winning league 1 and the ' lower league cup'. They all played the top teams week in week out all be it for possibly only a year. Can't change a thing. I'm a city fan( it'll never change) but they've all had at least two years that were far more successful than I've seen at city in nearly 30 years of watching.
  7. Hull the new Blackpool?

Feel sorry for Hull!!!! They made it to the Prem. They lived the dream. What about us lot. struggling championship/ top league 1 team! Quite possibly going to be relegated this year! I'd love to have been a Hull fan or Blackpool, Leeds Bradford,Portsmouth etc
  8. Sorry. Been so p'eed off with how things have gone though this season . Glad we've stayed up hope it works with LJ just will take time to get over the worst run in our history and how he's still here. Up the city!!!
  9. Johnson out!!! Spent millions, can't work with talented players just like his old man ( who did have success at a lower level and I wish him all the best). Leeds,Huddersfield and Brighton all have done extremely well this year when it wasn't expected. We've basically been shit. Johnson out !!!!
  10. Have we seen the last of Tomlin?

Think that Tomlin and half the team will want out at the end of the season as they clearly aren't giving their all for the incompetent excuse of a manager. Expecting numourous agents banging on the chairmans door especially as he's now stated if we stay up Johnson stays! Also doubt if any decent championship standard players would be even contemplating signing for city as it hardly looks like a good career move- won't get much playing time;will get publicly slated;will be in a certain relegation battle.
  11. FANS OF BRISTOL CITY IN THIS THREAD DO NOT WANT LJ HERE

    Out
  12. Steve Lansdown

All these clubs have had premier league football and most are above us in the league now
  13. Sorry, Wilbs...

Kasper Schmeichel said the players were 100% behind Ranieri a day before he was sacked. We live in hope!!!
  14. does anyone actually want LJ to stay?

The form of the team is surely going to be affected by the training/coaching the players get. The motivation of the players and belief in what they are being told. The ability of the players and luck. Based on the second half of last season and the very beginning of this, the players are clearly good enough. So something else is wrong. Are the team just going through a very unlucky time or is the loss of belief in the coaching etc? JOHNSON OUT. I want success now not another 30 years of watching lower league football. Time waits for nobody Mr Lansdown
  15. WHO WILL BE LEFT

Can they be less mentally or physically prepared than they are now? If the record breaker is in charge we could stoop to a record breaking run of form at the bottom of league 1 I suppose!
