  1. Perspective, please!

Yes, at the match - we should be like that anyway, but takeaway the Leeds approach to getting on the goalkeepers back yesterday. Support our own by being loud and hostile towards other teams. But in the real terms, like today, people need to calm down about the meltdown.
  2. Perspective, please!

Agree - everyone needs to calm down.
  3. Seasonal "Progress"

Let's go up and get battered every week shall we? Or shall we build a sustainable future? The club has had a fairytale season considering last season fighting for our lives. Perspective needed! Brighton took years to go up, didn't happen overnight - be patient and see the long term ramifications. Why can't we keep our players together? No player is irreplaceable, even if I would hate to lose certain key players.
  4. I know a lot of people like Ryan Kent

This thread Why can't we just support the lad? Too many people expecting him to come in and be Messi - let the lad play - even our senior pro's make mistakes. From the first game, there was people all around the ground creating an expectation. He won us multiple good free kicks yesterday with his quick feet. Yes, he lost the ball a few times but who doesn't.
  5. We go again

No need to be too disheartened - lads played their hearts out and gave it their all against a good side who will probably go on to win the league - no matter what happens in 2018, I will forever be greatful for a great half a year in 2017 that these players have given. Only 2 more things to say, we go again in 2018 and Up the City
  6. Six England squad withdrawals for injury... Really?

How Jonjo Shelvey hasn't got in over Livermore and Cork I'll never know
  7. Lee Tomlin returns (merged)

Tin hat coming on here but in my opinion, we should just all ignore Lee Tomlin completely next weekend. Tomlin himself said while playing for us that it motivates him if everyone gives him stick, so we should just ignore him completely, at least until after the game.
  8. Freeman

Did nothing wrong? I'd say refusing to play is doing something wrong. I won't be clapping him - more likely to get a boo.
  9. Outgoings

Out: Tammy (Loan) Tomlin Wilbs (38 now) Giefer (Loan) Goulbourne Little (Out of Contract) Matthews (Enough said) I'd put a bid in for Cotterill.
  10. Genuine question, wondering if anyone puts any blame on the players at all for this? Or is it just Johnson etc? Let's hope this won't start WW3
  11. Todays game

Agree with some of this and others I don't. I felt we looked a lot better when we pressed and took the game to them when Paterson, Taylor and Djuric came on. Tomlin has potential to be the best player on the pitch but you lose the intense press that we got with Paterson. Taylor's movement was great, thought he was tidy. Wright was class today. Thought our fullbacks left us a bit vulnerable. Breath of fresh air to have Cotterill on set pieces too! Tammy looked poor. Maybe time for a rest? Nervy, but 3 points in the bag which is what matters. A lot of people are forgetting that this hopefully gives the team confidence, which is what has been lacking for a while. Having said that, we really, really needed the confidence because we have 4 games coming up that look hard. Let's hope the boys respond next week too!
  12. Booing for the substitutes

Thought Tammy was quite poor today - deserved to be taken off. Same for Tomlin - not undroppable - Tammy's been class this season but he doesn't escape criticism - was poor today. Well done LJ!
