  1. Dubai - well earned break?

They stayed at Jumeirah Al Naseem and trained at Sports City, nice hotel but far from the best training facility
  2. I would be surprised if he leaves Al Ain! The money he is on there is equivalent to a top Premier League player. The Sheik who owns the club can afford to keep him without being swayed by a huge transfer fee!
  3. Dubai/UAE Bristol City supporters

Yes I do, I will join the facebook group

Really?? Lloyd joined the academy at 11 thats seven years ago long before LJ took over. Overhead this once said by a Southampton coach, the only difference between you and us is not the quality of the players but the opportunity available to them. What LJ has given the boys in the academy is a route to get to the first team that wasn't available before.
  6. Youth policy !!!!

The Academy is not broken!! It just takes time. There are players in some age groups that are excellent. It just they are maybe 3/4/5+ years away from being around the first team. In fact I would say that some of the things that are happening in the academy are better than they have ever been.
  7. Retained list due out today

You do realise that Tinman has nothing to do with the day to day running of the academy right??!! He is the loan manager based at Failand and works with the young professionals
  8. Seven offered first professional contracts

Kel akpobire - a forward that can play as a wide player, hard working physical player has some issues with finishing but all round good player opi Edwards - absolutely rapid great attitude can play as a wide midfielder or wing back - has an excellent chance of a first team appearance in the next 2 seasons. I imagine will go on loan this season james Morton - ball playing centre mid. Likes to sit in pocket and pass, great range of passing George nurse - best of the lot, left footed and athletic the next Joe Bryan if he continues to develop aaron and Harvey very similar type centre backs both are brave, have great attitudes, can defend and score from set peices both big boys. Tom Richards centre mid good range of passing great attitude and work ethic
