  1. Thought tonight’s second half performance was the best of the season against a decent team , especially considering the amount if football played recently.. The contributions of the squad players was very important , with Hadyn Roberts excellent in defence and Harry Cornick building on a very good first half display at Borough with a top finish tonight. I really hope they can take the confidence into the QPR game, which will be a very difference challenge . Credit to all concerned tonight .
  2. Since the pandemic I didn’t go to away games for a while , so I think today was the first time I’ve seen City win away since Fulham in Dec 19 - so I should have come out of the ground feeling ecstatic. Instead I just felt shredded and relieved. We played really well first half, and I like the manning style which is improving our passing . I think fatigue played a part, but also felt Mehmeti playing opposite Luke Ayling was a strange choice . He had got behind us and put in crosses a few times in the first half , but without Mehmeti tracking back properly he had acres of space all second half and a goal coming from it seemed inevitable. The good news was it came so late in the game we were able to hold on Very pleased now that we won , but it was a looooong second half .
  3. Trains from Reading running ok - there’s 2 Elizabeth lines an hour and I’ve just got on one. My station should be Swindon , but engineering works today so booked trains from Newbury got a text this morning cancelling the Newbury reading leg as flooded so changed plans and drove to Reading parked in the multistory - plenty of space
  4. I won’t be going to game tomorrow because of Coronavirus. I had invited my dad over to stay for the weekend with the plan of going to the game . He is in his 80’s with pre existing health conditions and wants to avoid crowds so we will be watching the game on Sky instead.
