  1. Warnock was at Torquay v Weston yesterday. Was also apparently at Torquay's previous home game.
  2. Thanks for coming back to me. I've checked and she's already shown as 'customer to customer' and it says 'strong relationship'. Are you saying that I should delete her and then re-add her? Thanks again for your help!
  3. Has anyone else had an issue with one or more of their group's tickets not showing as available? Mine and my son's are available to select but not my daughter's.
  4. Thanks for that, didn't realise train tickets had gone on sale this week. Got my ticket from Amsterdam to Essen (where I'm staying for the Gelsenkerken game) for £18 which is a bargain! Looks like some tickets still aren't available yet (eg I want Frankfurt to Berlin after the 2nd game) but maybe will be available next few days.
  5. For me the only metric to define a big club is attendances (consistently over several years whilst taking into account success / lack of). I actually think that honours and recent years in the top flight reduce how big the club is relative to their attendances. Ie, a club that averages 21/22k consistently over years like us despite no honours or recent top flight exposure is bigger than one that gets the same crowds but has had some success (eg, Burnley, Cardiff, Watford). There's definitely a spreadsheet asking to be created to measure this!
  6. 100% agree - Pring has easily been our best / most effective player this season for me.
  7. It felt proper non league when the trophy arrived in an old card board box and then had to be put together by the bloke presenting it!
  8. We went last weekend to watch the Napoli Lazio match. Some parts of the city feel a bit old and dirty in places and is very hectic but never felt unsafe there at all. Certainly didn’t feel like it deserved the reputation it has. They are also obsessed with Maradona. Never been somewhere where everything seems to be so devoted to one person!
  9. I get that every time I buy a ticket, but within a second or 2 get the payment confirmation. Never needed to pay again, just assumed it’s a glitch they’ve never fixed.
  10. Agree with Famous 3 Kings - easy to get to from Paddington too - right outside West Kensington station.
  11. I agree, can’t believe they still exist. Even more so in the early stages of the competition. For example, If Weston draw with Helston in the next round, they will need to travel to the tip of Cornwall on a week night - time off work for the players etc, crazy and unnecessary in my opinion.
  12. Quite jealous of Logical-City now!
  13. New one just announced for the 8th
  14. I guess the nation-wide rail strike just announced for the day of the Birmingham game may have spoilt a lot of peoples’ (including my own) plans for this game.
  15. Thanks - That makes sense as I was watching on SkyQ yesterday and was probably on SkyHD last time I used the red button.
  16. I noticed last night watching a bit of the Cardiff game, it was a good 90 seconds behind Flash Scores for the goals going in. Hadn’t noticed this much of a delay before on red button games.
  17. I’m sure the Miners will be open from 10.
  18. Weston were excellent yesterday at Poole, winning 3-1 to stay equal top of the league. Adding Reuben Reid (ex Plymouth) up front to an already solid squad for this level really looks to have given them the edge - real promotion contenders this year. I always think finding genuine quality up front at this level is incredibly hard but Reid and Marlon Jackson look so dangerous as a partnership and work well off each other and Dayle Grubb in behind them still must be the most talented player on the league (although now into his 30s I assume).
  19. Cracking weekend of football coming up - Poole v Weston on Saturday, City v Cardiff Sunday!
  20. Thanks for this Dave - really interesting. Is this information freely available from Opta / Wyscout or do you have a subscription for this?
  21. I agree and I think the fact that it’s the season ticket holder that can bring the mates at the discounted rate works well. It’s a benefit to the ST holder to have the option to bring a mate along, so doesn’t devalue the season ticket I don’t think - certainly wouldn’t stop me getting mine. Id like to see them do it much more often if the commercials stack up - ie, the extra beer, food etc sales outweigh the missed full price ticket sales.
  22. Hopefully not as they haven’t sold their own allocation yet and they are on general sale.
  23. Yes it was and I think I remember Andy May scoring the winner for us.
  24. It’s 75 for me watching city (only counting each club once if I’ve been to old and new). Also including Ashton Gate! Also slight cheat that I’m counting Wimbledon but know it’s not the same club anymore (FA cup replay early 90s). Total grounds is 178 with the others being City games against teams not in the 92 anymore, Weston matches, England trips and a few European football road trips.
  25. Yes, doing a couple of nights in Berlin and one in Munich - looking forward to it.
