Exactly! I think it was a pen some don’t! Either way if all that time wasting up to the point the penalty was awarded hadn’t had Happened there would not have been that chance. on top of that I keep reading about all the added time but some of that was trying to get in Wells head. Without going back to look at it, there was time added at the end of the game three minutes of which was takeN up by time wasting. The amount added after the award (and subsequent scoring) of the pen is a bit irrelevant. I suspect those with a sad life/time on their hands can count out from 90 what was added and how much was wasted add it back before the handball.

Just watched the ‘highlights’ of yesterday’s game. I have three main thoughts 1 They reiterated what utter tosh we were. It was 90% of yellow shirts hanging around our penalty area and winning the ball in midfield 2 The commentator on our website highlights was obviously the chairman of the Huddersfield Town supporters club 3 It was a definite handball despite the aforementioned chairman’s continued protestations it hit the sub (love the irony) on the back.

The referees view is as good as any view they are going to get from open play. It was a good decision. Can someone post that video on the Huddersfield forum? They would still probably deny it.

I do see some signs of progress with the Manning way…Sometimes. However yesterday was rubbish and I do share your misgivings about Blackburn. They were utter nonsense all over the park. Yes we pressured them but honestly they were so garbage their manager hooked four off at ht. Everything you need to know right there. Where we have real signs of progress is consistent clean sheets. However is that progress from the beginning of the Manning era or across the season? Mr Manning is facing his first proper injury crisis, however the week Lansdown junior and Tinnion sacked Pearson we had seven (7) U18/U21s in the squad. Sometimes I feel like OLearys number one fan! If thee boy doesn’t get in the next Irish squad then there is no justice! Blimey I’m really having to think back. As shocking decisions go Im really not sure it’s that bad, although I suspect the huddersfield forum remember it. I’ll take a look. I guess whatever your opinion of the referee was today things do seem to work themselves out eventually. Penalty’s are a good example. We got a 50/50 today (although I read someone in the Dolman reckoning it was nailed on) a year ago we weren’t getting nailed on pens and having softies given against us. That’s life I guess.
