  1. Barnsley away (Merged)

We couldn't even sell out Palace away in the Championship semi final 1st leg unfortunately mate.
  2. Amsterdam, England game.

Back in 2002 loads of us City lads stayed in The Winston (right in the red light), There is a quality bar called Belushi's right there, decent tunes, and you can smoke in there too. http://www.belushis.com/bars/amsterdam City had about 100 lads out there for that trip, was a cracker! I went out there on a stag this time last year, The Grasshopper had changed to more of a restaurant now, so probably worth avoiding. The Old Sailor will be full of English lads, and a good atmosphere, and of course the Bulldog. Have a great time out there, will be a right craic i'm sure, wish I was going.

We have set our stall out to buy young players as a club, in my 34 years watching City, i can't remember another period of time where so many young players have actually improved, Brownhill, Reid, Bryan, Pack, Paterson, O'dowda, Smith, off the top of my head. Why not trust the current management set up? Bringing in new players has never been an exact science, and the tricky part about bringing in young players, from abroad especially, is that they will need to be developed, which obviously takes time. Seems to me that the decision to loan certain players out is working well, and at the prices we are paying for players, the risk in terms of Championship budgets, is pretty low. The current magagement team have got a hell of a lot more right than wrong in my opinion, so the future looks bright. COYR.
  4. Barnsley away (Merged)

I think we took about 900 to Oldham on Good Friday when we were top of league one under Cotts, surely we can take over a thousand?? Ipswich bringing over a thousand to us on Saturday given the distance, and their position, puts our away support to shame really. Come on lads, make the effort and get up there! COYR
  5. Burton Away Tickets

Only 62 left on the online site lads, in case anyone has left it late! COYR

Last year the cost for me and my two boys in W12 was £579, to renew the same seats for next year £1009! haha! 74% increase!! Cheers then. The advice of 'we would encourage you to move' is difficult as I sit with a group of 12 mates, and i'm the only one with kids, so they quite rightly won't move, and I don't want to move either. bang out of order.

Seems bang out of order to say that there is no child prices at all in the Lansdown lower, fair enough £50 is too cheap for that area, but to say it's now gonna cost £255 each for my 8 & 10 year olds is a joke.
  8. Johnson calling upon fans

All credit to the lads in S82 last night, lots of the old songs which everyone around the ground can join in with. Keep it going now boys! COYR
  9. Attendance vs Fulham

Games don't get much bigger, or attractive than this for us, need everyone to stick with the lads whatever, and maximum noise.
  10. Johnson calling upon fans

During the late 90's and early 2000's when the east end was away fans only, the home atmosphere was miles worse than it is now in fairness. There wasn't any section of the home support that got anything going.
  11. Johnson calling upon fans

I'm in Lower Lansdown W12, and the whole ground will join in with 'Come on you Reds' 'Ole Ole Ole Bristol City' 'Red Army' and the encouragement songs, It's a shame that 'Drink up thee cider' or 'we love you city' hardly ever seems to get started at home games any more. It's great to have a section where everyone can stand, but they need to get the old school songs going more often rather than that cringeworthy song about our Icelandic sub, which has been nicked from Vincent Kompany anyway. COYR
  12. Fulham on Wednesday

Gary Oneill played for the U23's yesterday mate, so no chance.
  13. Burton Away Tickets

I went in the seats last season, it's fine, and because there is less of you it was easy to get a pint. Not a bad outcome. That said, i'm amazed the club won't change them for standing if you've asked.
  14. Burton Away Tickets

On sale now lads, bound to go quite quickly, it's not brilliantly laid out on the site, you need to click on 'see more areas' for the terrace tickets to come up. COYR
  15. Cardiff Tickets

I've sat in the Grandstand side a couple of times when we've had bubble matches (dugout/camera side). always been pretty sleepy in there.
