  1. Leeds Utd Sat 21st Oct

Surely there isn't a prayer of filling that top tier with casual fans at £41 a pop??
  2. Who's the mystery injury?

Yeah but his quote says someone who was involved Tues night, so that rules out Joe, O'Neill must be favourite I reckon
  3. The Chants Thread (merged)

Listen chap, I haven't composed anything on a forum, it's only a bit of fun, I haven't heard a song about our new striker, the housemartins one is original, fits with his name, and were a band a lot of lads like, if you don't like it fair enough, but why comment? Wind your neck in you miserable old so and so
  4. The Chants Thread (merged)

Haha! Yeah because no one ever thinks them up, they just happen by magic on the day. Why do people bother, be much more fun sat in silence wouldn't it.
  5. The Chants Thread (merged)

Not having me and Farmara then mate? haha Must some lads on here old enough for the Housemartins surely??

  8. Yeah from what I remember there it's pretty easy to do, I think it was the night we lost with Cotts in charge, I watched the first half in the terrace and second half in the seats. If you've got two mates in the terrace just get one of them to bring both stubs and meet you at the bogs, then you can both get back in the terrace.

Thanks mate, he's a massive part of our team, hope we can get him tied down.

Hi Lads, Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find the answer, does anyone know if Marlon has signed another extension recently? When is his deal up with us?
  11. Atmosphere today

I'm in the Lansdown Stand towards the Atyeo, and the atmosphere from the SS corner sounded and looked great I thought, especially in the first half! I can imagine that when we have a game that's in the balance it's gonna be really noisy all around the ground, good times!!
  12. Diedhiou

I think the end of last season showed that with the partnerships of Flint & Wright, and Pack & Smith in the spine of the team we can be a force, lots of promise from the young lads, Brownhill, Paterson, O'dowda, & Reid, coupled with the new right back & striker and we are starting to look pretty sensible! Fingers crossed!
  13. What do we really need before match day one

    Haha! Sack um all!!
  14. Diedhiou

Also I should say that, i'm fully aware that it's only Yeovil, but we played some sensational stuff yesterday at times. Great to see this young team coming together, if we can find that consistency that eluded us last season, hopefully we'll be in for a less stressful time.
  15. Diedhiou

Taking everything into account, I thought it was a very good debut from Famara, he showed some lovely touches, strength, and looked very physical! He had a ball fizzed into him with their centre half right up his backside, and he took it on the half turn and left the CB for dead, he also took a high ball down dropping over his shoulder right on the touchline beautifully, he made most of his runs to the near post first half, and every cross got chipped to the far post, and in the second half Pisano hit a cross near post, and he'd drifted to the back post, given that he has only been here a week, give it a few games, and work on the training ground, and we'll have a top player on our hands!
