  1. Unless you can afford and attract Pep! Now, where's Lansdowns ambition!
  2. Fair point! TBH some of the appointments weren't bad ones, they were just set up to fail by meddling from above.
  3. Same for whoever gets the gig. We can't afford, or attract, someone who's not a risk. We can minimise through due diligence but it's still going to be a risk.
  4. Managed Conway and Bell in the U23's for a bit during his time here. It wouldn't surprise me, and maybe a little bit more forward thinking than the likes of Rowett, Nathan Jones et al.
  5. And assisted by Ryan Harley, formerly of this parish. Hmmm....
  6. Got me there. I think my point still stands though, this isn't a low wage team.
  7. We're 18th and you don't think Wells, Martin, James, King and Simpon aren't picking up a fair whack? Our wage bill is no better.
  8. His nett transfer spend was a healthy profit.
  9. It's on there. Just not as important as promoting gambling with Mansion bet so hidden away.
  10. Totally agree. However, not everyone is as responsible as you. If everyone did as asked and took social distancing seriously we would be experiencing lots more of what we enjoy. It's not the match itself; clubs will manage this properly, it's the fact that you can't trust some people to act responsibly before and after the game. If it was me I'd let fans in but on the provision that 1) all pubs nearby are shut and 2) all nearby parking restrictions are lifted (where safe) so it's easy for everyone who can drive, to drive to the game. For example we could use the park and ride at long ashton so people can walk to the ground.
  11. Smith or Brownhill at RB, Hörður at LB. we can play either 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 with this 11 if needed. It’s a solid line up and no excuse should it go tits up.
