  1. In Thornbury I grew up with Midlands BBC One, we flicked over to Points West for at 6:30 to watch some fuzzy local news. Also S4C was sometimes better signal than Channel 4.
  2. You make up the membership fee by saving money on your tickets. So if you're not planning on going to enough games to save money with a season ticket, membership is the way to go. You can sit in different places for each game, easier to sit with mates ad-hoc, you'll always be able to get a ticket for whatever game you want.
  3. I'm not going, but I'll put the word out around the city fans I know near me.
  4. Champagne moment I put as our most recent display against Huddersfield... I don't think anyone saw that coming!
  5. There was a cracking Irish bar last time I found myself in... Can't remember the name, or where it was!
  6. http://www.htafc.com/news/article/2016-17/huddersfield-town-season-cards-201718-terrierspirit-3638225.aspx That could be a £199 Premier League season.
  7. Me three! Saw them at Wembley last year. I know some of their older songs were slow and depressing. But they can fill a set with their more upbeat stuff, and they put on a good show. Especially with the light up wrist bands that everyone in the crowd gets.
  8. Theres a GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/saveorient) raising money so they have a fund to buy the club or assets from the liquidator/administrator.
  9. I did think that, though they have said they won't be charging entry, which a lot of central pubs do
  10. Where is everyone going for Friday's game?
  11. How do you embed YouTube videos?!
  12. During one of my year's at Uni in London (Season 13/14), they gave out free season tickets, so I got one and ended up watching them a lot that season. They won something like their first 10 games of the season in League One and got to the play-off final. Lost to Rotherham on pens and then Barry Hearn sold up. All been down hill from then. Since Barry Hearn left, they're stuck with some Italian who wants to do this, that and the other and they've gone through more managers than we have. Shows what can happen when an owner who has the club at heart sells up.
  13. Date of births are handy so they can analyse age demographics. ie. People under 25 respond better to offers where it's simply a cheap ticket. But over 50s respond better to bring a friend ticket. Also means they can send Birthday messages and offers if they wanted to. As someone who has dealt with multiple mailing lists, it's better to get more information at the beginning, then trying to get the info you need later on.
  14. I've just spent ages trying to find this and no luck! Why didn't I just check on here...
  15. If only they held off on re-arranging the Villa away game. They could have put it on the 18th.
