  1. I felt the same a few seasons ago babber. It was hard at first breaking the habit but can still follow at a distance. I found switching to the rugby was much more enjoyable for a few reasons. Cheaper season ticket. Less games a season so some weekends free to pursue other interests. More entertaining performances. No restriction on drinking alcohol in the ground. More family and female friendly. Not so 'tribal' so you can mix in the pubs and stands with other teams supporters without all that aggressive crap. Your watching the best players in the world plying their trade. Won't knock anyone for sticking with it, I did for many years but don't see myself switching back anytime soon.
  2. Family section will be in S18, 19 & 20. Not Lower Lansdown. Some - quite understandably- unhappy about that and being booted out from their seats next season. The Atyeo would've been a wiser choice methinks.
  3. A great game and atmosphere yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyable evenings entertainment. The Bristol Boys looked well up for it, everyone played superbly well. One suggestion though.....Why play The Wurzels 'Drink up thee Cider' at the end of the game, that's City's, should play 'Blackbird' as that's what the players sing, it is much more appropriate imo.
  4. "desert" as in dry and barren land? That's not sweet!
  5. What a brilliant, open, entertaining game to watch that was. 101 points total, 57 points to the Bears, no problem scoring it would seem today. Season is still alive.
  6. As above title. Hope they're finished later or it'll be carnage I tell ee, carnage. Ha, Road not Toad.
  7. Blimey! Did you nurture her in a grow bag?
  8. And if we lose our next two.........
  9. Me too, local boozers for me too 99% of the time. There's being ripped off and then rubbing your nose in it.
  10. They don't take cash down the ground so do you not buy food or drink there?
  11. So about 33% who have voted either definitely or likely to not renew. That's a lot of fans/customers/dosh missing.
  12. Back on track......The sags are poo!
  13. Thanks for that. I hope to hear from you in March........and not through a Ouija Board. Good luck
  14. What was the expiry date of the other mate?
