  1. So the club are at least considering potentially moving people around in the South Stand then?
  2. Mid-table obscurity once again, just how the Lansdown's like it unfortunately.
  3. same old isn't he. Who gives a **** about a Fa Cup run, we all want a proper run of consistency in the league which as a club we seem incapable of
  4. Don't know what else people expected Pearson to do with the peanuts that he had to spend to be honest.. On paper Cornick looked a decent signing, not working out for him here for whatever reason admittedly but to slate Pearson for taking a low risk gamble on a player that had done well at this level with Luton is laughable IMO.
  5. Agree with many of the sentiments already in this thread, it's tinpot beyond belief. Really is embarrassing aswell when we are rubbing shoulders with many clubs at this level who have spent decades and decades in the topflight, many with major honours won in their historys and we celebrate this. As others have said Watford fans must have been wondering WTF was going on. No suprises though, especially with the senior position Tinnion has within the club, another opportunity to blow his own trumpet it feels. A tinpot organisation run by amateurs aren't we. The big shiny stadium with 22,000 plus in every other week and the nice new training ground really does paper over the cracks at the club..
  6. The debate on the logistics of it have been done to death on here but the 'singing section' needs to be expanded IMO. The demand is there even for league games when we have the usual 21/22 k attendances but its even more clear on nights like last night that expanding it would be the right move. Not sure how it would work with existing season ticket holders but something is going to have to give. Expanding it all the way along the back of the SS seems logical to begin with.
  7. Yet again it's the Lansdown's lurching from one strategy to another. You are quite right in what you say, the club came out in a united front on the loan subject when asked. This wasn't just Nige it was the Ceo at the time and Tinnion that backed the manager up on why they are basically just a huge waste of money.. As i said, history repeats itself. Steve and the boy just lurch from one ideology to another, they haven't got a ******* clue what they are doing and Tinnion is just the mouthpiece that spouts whatever crap they want him to spout at the given time.
  8. Indeed, he will always be remembered for that season, terrific numbers. Personally i was a huge fan of Andi, what he sometimes lacked in quality he always made up for it in work rate and effort. That is all you can ask from players that they give it 100% and that is something Andi did everytime he put on our shirt.
  9. The same complaints were all over twitter when we played Man City in the cup last season aswell. So 6 years later and the club still haven't taken onboard the criticism, just about sums us up really - ******* amateur from top to bottom at this club.
  10. Be careful what you wish for as i really don't fancy us in a relegation battle, certainly not with this squad anyway. Too many weak minded bottlers amongst them IMO. As much as i agree with what you are saying about things being painfully boring over the last 6 or 7 seasons, going back to League 1 would be a disaster for the club. No guarantee we would bounce back in 2 season like we did last time aswell. I don't know about you but i have seen far too many seasons of us being in the third tier - it's ******* dire.
  11. The thing is, if it wasn't clear at the time it is crystal clear now.. Nigel was never dismissed for the reasons the Lansdowns publicly gave.. It was IMO a personal vendetta/fued that led to Pearaons sacking.. they knew manning or any new manager couldn't get any better out of this current squad but they had to publicly peddle that narrative.
  12. Same old city for me as others have said. We aren't going anywhere with the current structure, its mid to lower mid table championship finishes for the foreseeable IMO. Credit to the fanbase for still turning up in their numbers though, to be averaging 22,000 at home is incredible and the Lansdowns should feel extremely lucky that we keep turning up week in week out.
  13. They are such a poor team but it's not exactly these sort of physical anti footballing teams that we struggle against time and time again.
  14. If Mehmeti could work on his decision making he could be some player at this level. He is such a frustrating watch.
  15. my thoughts aswell. pitch looks pretty shocking in places.
  16. Can never turn your nose up at a point away from home in this league, win Monday and it will top off a very good festive period..
  17. Still far too early to predict anything long term IMO however the early signs are good from Manning and Hogg. Many people on here (myself included) will be eating some humble pie tonight, i will be the first to admit i was probably far too critical of the new management team when they came in but fair play they are proving me and many others wrong and long may it continue.
  18. fair play we are all over them - need to try and push for a second goal now.
  19. If the standard of officiating over there is anything like it is in this country then i can't blame them. Maybe if clubs in this country made more of a stand against some of the appalling VAR and other decisions made then the FA, Premier league and EFL might actually do something about constructive about it..
  20. Schumacer is somebody i wish we went for to be honest. Can see him being be a good appointment for Stoke. As for Plymouth fans unfortunately he was always going to go as soon as a bigger club came calling IMO. No disrespect to them but they are punching above their weight being at this level.

Totally agree. Re signing James on slightly lesser terms would be ideal - he still has a lot to offer IMO.
