  1. Great contrast, Fordy, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to pick you up on one of those points: they don't have 'a tent for a stand', they have TWO tents for stands. Two.... However, both do new seats in.....
  2. Twist these words then, Prancer: Bristol City have a first class 27,000 all-seater stadium; a multimillion pound squad; international footballers; 20,000 plus attendances; a Cat 2 Academy; a genuine bona-fide BILLIONAIRE Bristol born owner; a bright young manager who genuinely cares for the club; a first class training facility owned by the club; are £4m in credit for summer spending, despite spending £11m; are a Championship team and have a realistic opportunity of top flight football soon. Bristol Rovers have...... well, I'll let you have a think about that one. Compare and contrast, Prancer, and then ask yourself how stupid you lot look coming on here trying to wind US up?
  3. Seems that a few of you missed my point here. I was making a stupid attendance comparison the same as Rovers did when we played Scunthorpe and they played Chelsea last week. Never mind.
  4. Following recent jibes from Rovers' fans about our support, tonight just goes to show the true attendance gap between our two clubs: the last Football League Trophy game we played there were 72,000 there, compared to Rovers' attendance tonight of 1,418.....
  5. This massive thread laughing at you. Rovers are currently 18th in League One (or 62nd in the Premier League, as you will no doubt tell people), yet you have the audacity to come on here and try to take the piss out of City fans. Just for the record, I have always said that UWE will 100% happen for Rovers, based on my own personal relationship with them. But having seen the plans UWE have not-so-secretly floated out for a large part of the plot of land that the stadium was going in in recent weeks, unless Rovers' plan is to play their games in the corridors of a student block or new business learning base, you can kiss that pipe dream goodbye once and for all. Chew on that
  6. I can't believe you're boycotting the Football League trophy so soon after returning from non-league. You should be grateful you're even in it.
  7. Will let you know how the pies at Fulham taste in the third round.
  8. You're assuming he can get a ticket, what with your incredible support and everything.....
  9. Yes, agreed on all points. All times like this do is reaffirm how fortunate I feel to have been born a City fan.
  10. Bert Tann is the only decent gashead on here, plus he has a sense of humour, so little wonder you don't think he's one of yours. Once he starts displaying signs of severe paranoia and he prattles on about attendances, despite some serious failings in that department, then maybe he'll get the recognition he deserves from you as the gashead he is. Give me ten Bert Tann's over one Prancing Fanny. Don't take that as your cue to talk about attendances mind. Although seeing as you were going to mention it, we sold out Swindon last time we were there, and the time before, but Rovers haven't. Strange.....
  11. Genuine question, what was relegation from the football league into non-league like?
  12. By contrast, I'd HAVE to be drunk to be on the same plane as them!
  13. A stewardess who'd always wanted her picture taken with a circus troupe.
  14. Come on, be realistic - how can you expect them to find the time to build a new shed, erect a new canopy, put new seats with letters that don't make sense in AND sort out the new kit? Also, I think you forget that they were a non-league team a couple of years' back and this sort of situation with the kit is perfectly normal at that level. In fact don't be surprised if they play in skins in their next game....
  15. Can't wait?! Well seeing as there has been zero announcement about whether their move out of Bristol is still even happening, let alone a start date, he'd better learn how to wait. Sweet.....
