  1. He certainly looked good on the ball, but what did he actually achieve?
  2. They will have to do it without Kodjia, though, after his sending off yesterday. Bad timing Kodj.
  3. So Leeds have dropped out of the top 6. Didn't they say they would give a part refund to season ticket holders if they didn't make the play offs?
  4. I think people have been fooled into thinking they are more important than they really are. BCFC is not a reality show where you can vote for who you want to win. At work, I never rose to a management role. There were men (and women) IN SUITS, who took decisions and told us what to do. We didn't expect them to come round in baseball caps and tracksuits from Matalan, scribbling down our ideas so they could change how to run the company. Often their line was JFDI (Just F...... Do It). Yes Bristol City is my club, but I belong to it, like the Camping Club, or Tesco Clubpoints. The club doesn't belong to me. You can argue until you are blue in the face, but it doesn't change the fact that the club belongs to Stephen Lansdown. He makes the calls, not us. That isn't going to change. Lets just see what happens. That's why I've been supporting "my" club all these years.
  5. It was Benny's second game, following a 5-0 defeat away to a Northern club (Bradford City). A bit of a pattern developing here?
  6. I got free travel to another game after being at the 7-1 at Swansea.
  7. Confirmation from local site of M4 closure: Drivers heading to the west of Reading are warned of a series of weekend closures of the M4 for essential repairs to two bridges. The project means the total closure of the motorway in both directions between junction 12 atTheale and junction 13 at Chieveley. Highways England has announced it will carry out the work to the bridges which carry the M4 over Ashampstead Road and Dark Lane near Bradfield. The work will see road resurfacing, replacing deck beams, bridge joints and sections of the safety barrier carried out. This means the road will be closed from 9pm on Friday until 6am on Monday for four consecutive weekends in April and May. Drivers are advised a diversion will be in place via the A4 through Newbury, Thatcham and Woolhampton. The work will be carried out on the following weekends: Friday, March 31, to Monday, April 3 Friday, May 5 t, to Monday, May 8 Friday, May 12 to Monday, May 15 Friday, May 19 to Monday, May 22 There will also be overnight lane restrictions between the same times in place on the westbound carriageway between Friday, July 7, and Monday, July 10 and on the eastbound carriageway between Friday, July 28 and Monday, July 31.
  8. Having had no City match on two Saturdays in a row is ample to make me renew. Football is what Saturdays are for - whoever we play.
  9. That was the sort of game both sides deserved to lose. No quality.
  10. This is getting very Red Dwarf.
  11. Radio said Taylor was being dragged back when through on goal and that's why he stumbled (but didn't go down).
  12. Fulham seem to think Ryan Sessegnon is worth a go at 16.
  13. Looks like Fulham have pace up front. They couldn't get it right against a top team today, but we will have to watch out for balls in behind our CBs. Not unbeatable though, as long as we press and scrap.
  14. But he hasn't played poorly and he still gets stick. Opponents just don't get past him. Anya only had an impact once he swapped wings.
  15. How is it "positives none" that in the first half we totally outplayed a team on the edge of the playoffs, at a ground where we had lost 7 times in 8 visits, and scored 3. We were so dominant that they made 2 changes after half an hour. Final result a disappointment but we lost there 4-0 last year. Nothing positive there???
