  1. 3-1 up after 70 minutes. Engvall hasn't scored or assisted any of them, according to live scores.
  2. That will teach you to leave before the end. We scored another 2 at Mansfield!
  3. Isn't it the case that no sports team from Bristol does as well as we would like. Rovers should never have dropped right out of the League - whatever is said on here, they are better than NLBR. Better now, but still Division 3. Rugby spend years getting into the top division, then fall back out with scarcely a whimper City Women get back to the top division (That's good) but don't look like staying long. They have beaten only Yeovil and lost all the rest, to average teams. Gloucestershire Cricket have never done anything in the Championship and apart from a few One Day triumphs, find it hard to shake off Graham Gooch's description of "Minor Counties West". Somerset have done better (without actually winning anything much) - but I don't count them as Bristol. Anything else? Speedway? Ice Hockey? There is something in the air round here that just doesn't breed real success.
  4. Capacity only 24k. When we first went there, thought it was the bees knees. Now it's smaller than AG.
  5. Robin Cousins
  6. And don't forget we beat Champions Liverpool in 1977 - because we had to.
  7. Plenty of examples above of decisions against us. How did he keep penalising Duric, but didn't give anything for dragging our players down several times? Just to show its not just sour grapes because we lost,, why didn't he book Wright if he gave deliberate handball? He booked one of their's for knocking it on with his hand earlier.
  8. These sort of games usually go this way. You can't read too much into it. One team is desperate to win and they do. Are fans of Brentford and Ipswich thinking their entire squad should be sacked after losing today? Or Notts County or Doncaster losing to the 22nd and 23rd teams yesterday. What about QPR, 4-0 losers at Norwich. It happens. Get over it. We all start level on 0 points next season.
  9. Brentford Home he didn't play. In the other 2 games you mention we conceded 5 goals, none of which were down to Little (remember I was looking for cases when he cost us a goal). He is not the best RB in the Championship, and I don't pretend that we couldn't improve on him, but that could be said about pretty much anyone in our squad. Who do we have who couldn't be upgraded? Average teams like us have mainly average players, and I believe that includes Mark Little. So, yes, I think he is Championship quality. He isn't a star, but I'm not having it that he cannot defend (as others have said), or that he only plays well when his contract is coming to an end. He is OK and nothing I have read makes me think otherwise.
  10. You really believe that he has been poor in every one of the 50 games he has played over the last 20 months? Yet you still can't highlight any specific examples, just repeat that "he isn't Championship material". Ok that is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but you can't claim "the fact remains the same" just because you say so.
  11. So your argument is that you are right and I am wrong. If it is so obvious that he isn't good enough, it should be easy to remember his poor games. Perhaps you could ask Knockaert what he thinks after Saturday. Or perhaps he isn't competitive enough for you?
  12. Please explain why the RB position is nothing to do with winning games. If Little has been targeted as a weak link every time, why haven't we lost every time he plays?
  13. So you could name more than 3 games he cost us a goal, but decided not to tell us which?
  14. This so unfair. Firstly, he hasn't played 80 odd games, he's only played 58 in the Championship. More importantly, it isn't "a few games", certainly not just the last 5, when he has played well. Can you remind me the last 3 times he has cost us a goal, let alone a game. Who else in the team hasn't made a costly mistake at some time? Little has played 33 times this season, with a 36% win rate, against 31% win rate when he didn't play. Does that really make him a liability?
  15. Talking of Cheltenham, they beat Hartlepool despite them changing their manager with two games to go, bringing in Matthew Bates (remember him) as caretaker. Maybe it is better to keep your manager??
