SC_Red
Listening to the vote on iplayer before the Lansdown interview I noticed that when it came to voting Simon Rayner said "Those in favour?" Then added "of rejecting the application". that alone shows he hasnt a clue what he's doing. You dont vote in favour of rejecting a planning application. You vote in favour of it or against it. Maybe he did it deliberately to make councillors think they were doing the right thing by voting in favour. Either way he's a cock.
cheese
No, the proposal on the floor, which had been seconded, was to reject the application. Therefore he was correct in asking for those in favour of rejecting it. But you're still correct in your analysis of him.
