Seems like our Rhys Jordan has become part of the U20 New Zealand squad - he's already been part of the U17 set up.

Junior All Whites coach Chris Milicich has added extra international experience to his 21-strong squad for the under-20 World Cup in Turkey next month.

Utility Tim Payne, who has made nine appearances for the All Whites, boosts Milicich's options in the midfield along with Bristol City's Rhys Jordan, who has been playing in the Championship club's under-21 team.

Milicich has retained the majority of the squad which qualified in Fiji for the World Cup in March with wins over Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Fiji.

"The inclusion of Tim and Rhys should allow us to continue to look to play through the middle third of the field as we play to the conditions and the nature of the tournament," he said.

Defender Alec Solomons also returns from injury, while Wellington-based gloveman Daniel Clarke picks up the third goalkeeper berth.

Milicich says the under-20 World Cup will play an important role in developing future All Whites.

"But we're also lucky enough to be able to call on guys like Tim Payne and Cameron Howieson, who have played for the national team already."

The Junior All Whites play the Young Socceroos in Sydney on June 10, then travel to Antalya for two further warm-up matches against Iraq and Egypt.

They then travel to Bursa to play group matches against Uzbekistan on June 23, Uruguay (June 26) and Croatia (June 29).

Junior All Whites: Scott Basalaj, Max Crocombe, Daniel Clarke, Storm Roux, Bill Tuiloma, Simon Arms, Luke Adams, Alec Solomons, Liam Higgins, Tom Biss, Cameron Howieson, Tim Payne, Jesse Edge, Justin Gulley, Rhys Jordan, Hamish Watson, Tyler Boyd, Louis Fenton, Van Elia, Ryan Thomas, Dale Higham.
